HEY BOBBY! im a really big fan your comic marry me is awsome ! i think i have become addicted ! enyway i know im 13 years old and very short for my age (dont worry im 13) but may i please enter i ADORE drawing and not to brag but i think im pretty good if you want i can scan a few of my drawing and send them to you !and really i dont mind about the pay id even consider if you dont pay me ! Okay, thanks. I’ll keep that in mind and pay attention for future updates/posting.

And sorry for seeming annoying by commenting like that. I don’t come across many chance to show my art for potential work, so any chance I can get, I’m going to do my best for it.

Sorry about that — assumed you were a new person. It’s amazing how many people e-mail me and simply say “Are you still looking for artists?” instead of just showing me their work, eliminating themselves from contention right from the start.

Haven’t yet got back to everyone — I’m extremely slow with such things and I apologize for saying that I would by certain times and not doing that. I mostly said it just to stop people from e-mailing me three times a day asking if they got the job or not, which was incredibly annoying. And most submissions didn’t deserve a response, since they proved that they couldn’t or didn’t read/understand my post with their submission. Yours was one of the few that had no such problems, though! Your stuff’s pretty good, but it’s not right for any project that I want to start soon — maybe for one down the line. Feel free to re-submit when I put out another big call for artists in the future. Thanks for your submission.

Its not that it goes unread, I read that and just assumed it was a general comment made. It was just that you stated in your updates that you’d be replying to the emails. Being one of the potential artists who submitted and email and have not heard anything, I was just looking for a reply/update.

Why is there a need for an update when this was included:

“Artist jobs with me will ALWAYS be available, since I have a million more projects to do. Some will begin this month and some will begin ten years from now. I am always looking for artists.”

It’s like no one even read the damn thing.

I think that is one of the most generous offers one could give for an on-line comic (plus the whole publishing offer), and I wish you the best of luck in finding people who will match your projects. Unfortunately, I am in your position: searching for comic artists. I wish I was financially able to offer a package like that, so I commend you on your success and wish you even more. I’m speechless when I consider that. Wow.
