Pre-order now! They’re not pre-orders anymore, though! The books are NOW SHIPPING. We apologize for the delays. ORDER NOW!

WE SHIP WORLDWIDE AND WE ACCEPT PAYPAL, CREDIT CARDS, AND CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS!

As a reminder: THE COMIC IS NOT OVER AND IT WILL CONTINUE!

As mentioned in the blog for Page 91, we’re going to do some short story comics featuring the characters, maybe 10-20 pages each, jumping around in time, some sequels, some prequels. The first one will hopefully finally start very soon! We’re hoping to finish at least three of those stories in time to print up another little volume of Marry Me for next year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

This year’s Comic-Con went great and it was nice to see about 15 of you take me up on the offer from the previous blog post to get a free Marry Me or Last Blood graphic novel in exchange for showing proof that you ordered the hardcover.

Oh, that’s a wonderful photo! I can’t wait to see the colored version. ^_^

  2. Katie Says:

Awwe. So cute! I love it, can’t wait for the colored version.

ps. I never commented before, soo, I thought’d I’d say that I am in total love with ths comic, and good job. :]

  3. Valerie Says:

Ha, I ♥ Parker as it is, but I REALLY ♥ her as Guy’s best man. XD
Eisu, Bobby, I love you guys.
Can’t wait to see it in color.

  4. Valerie Says:

Oh, and since I’m a dummyface and forgot to mention it, I love Stasia’s dress. X3

  5. Dark Chili Says:

FINALLY SOME SORT OF AN UPDATE! I swear I’ve been refreshing this site for my whole summer… Parker kinda looks like Willy Wonka…

  6. Ren Says:

WOW. I just finished this as the very last page was posted?..Er wait. That came out wrong. I Started this YESTERDAY and finished just as the last page was posted. Freaky if you ask me.

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT THE MOVIE? D:

  7. Big Ben Says:

And here’s a health to the pretty lass that I love so well,
Her style and her beauty sure none can excell,
There’s a smile upon her countenance as she sit on my kneee,
Sure there’s none in this wide world as happy as we.

Thank you for a wonderful read, I cannot wait for this package to arrive.
    Bravissimo!

  8. norman728 Says:

COOL something new Love the picture like everyone said can’t wait to see it in color.

PS for some reason I can’t figure out who the guy with the ball cap is….. I know the guy on the left is the bus driver.

PSS Eagerly awaiting my copy of the soft cover ……..rubs hands in anticipation.

  9. norman728 Says:

errr I mean Right not left the right the one with the lip fuz is the bus driver

  10. pixiekhatt Says:

@Ren Actually, the last page was posted almost 2 months ago on June 26th. This is just the equivalent to a filler (though.. after the comic is finished.. is there a better term for that?).

I can’t figure out who the guy on the left is either, though I went back searching. Thought it was the kid on the news that said, ‘Do work, son!’ or something to that effect, but as far as I can tell, not him.

  11. Steve Says:

Let me see if I can get these all right.
    From left to right:
    Stanley (Stasia’s stage manager)
    Unnamed flunky for Ana’s Dad
    Denny
    Parker
    Guy Cooper
    Mr. Tyler (Ana’s Dad)
    Ana (aka Stasia)
    Rebecca (from Umoja villiage)
    Janny (with Parker)
    Christian
    Unnamed Bus driver

Hope I got them all named right

  12. Bobby Crosby Says:

The dad’s assistant was named in the comic, near the end. Richmond.

  13. Black Cat Godess Says:

The only negative thing I can say is that I would’ve liked to see older Parker in a dress. Aside from that, great pic. I love how the outline of the tuxs help give them a more define color than just plain old black. Also, loving Janny’s hair. It’s totally cute and hip.

  14. defaultisset Says:

I hope you do one about Parker! That would be amazing.

  15. Roos Says:

Love it, that’s all I can say ^^

  16. therusskey Says:

what happened to guy’s glasses? he’s looking a bit weak without them =[

  17. MihoshiK Says:

Who IS that clean shaven man holding Stacia’s arm? We do not know this person from the comic…

  18. Katy Says:

Stasia’s dress LOOKS very neat, but how on EARTH would she WALK in it? I mean … wow. I’m looking at that thinking “I’d trip and fall down like at the first step” Hehe.

Great picture – nice to see some new material here.

  19. Alicia Says:

    KAWAII~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!

    I am in luv ;D

This was so worth the wait.

  20. Alicia Says:

    Hey, wait, that’s right…Guy is glasses-less! o_O

  21. Mandi Says:

i can totally accept the loss of the glasses. I mean if i didn’t look like a weirdo without my glasses I wouldn’t wear them to my wedding but no facial hair at all!?! That is part of how he is recognized. LoL…I’m still taking volenteers for the free-not-going-to-be-sold-unless-it-becomes-really-popular comic.

  22. Eisu Says:

Check out page 90, Guy and Stasia has the same look in the photo on Stasia’s mirror

  23. Mihoshi Says:

    Ah, wonderful image.
Far be it from me to complain, but would it be possible to have this in background formats?

  24. Critical Kitty Says:

    Yay for no stubble!

  25. pandaman Says:

Fine comic overall. Did you feel a need to rush it at all while you were working on it, or did you want it to be 91 pages from creation? I only mention this, because the plot seems to move a bit quick in the middle, and could do with a little padding, maybe more conflict.

Anyhow, fine comic. I’ll definitly be picking up a copy when it comes out.

  26. pixiekhatt Says:

Looks better with color. ^_^ The only person I expected to see in this photo that I didn’t was Guy’s sister. Y’know.. you’d figure she’d be at his wedding if he helped deliver her kids.. And it’d flesh out the guy to girl ratio. ^_^

  27. lala Says:

eeeyyy it’s the bus driver :D

  28. Lazarus Says:

Another shot with Guys sister included would be nice. Unless there’s some reason for her absense? Does guy have living parents, and does Stasia have a Mom, or is Stasias Dad the only parent alive?

  29. Jennee Says:

Did you miss the whole part with Stasia’s charity raising money to cure cancer since that’s what her mom died of? (Breast Cancer I believe.)

  30. Bobby Crosby Says:

    Ovarian.

  31. love is good Says:

good lord the cuteness just murdered me. that was a beautiful story and I am really impressed by how you managed to pull off the ending without it being cheesy. good job!

  32. Shaun Says:

I love it, but i have one complaint its too small to use as a desktop background. If you guys could upload a larger version (at least 1024×768) that would fantastic.

  33. Norman Says:

    Nice group photo.
My guess is that this is just one of the group photos taken at the wedding; I can easily see the photographer taking shots with family, shots with friends, shots with Mr. Tyler and the Coopers glaring at each other behind Ana’s and Guy’s backs… until his camera runs out of memory.

Glad to hear the dead tree editions are shipping! Can’t wait to see it.

  34. Graymalkin Says:

Got my autographed hardcover edition today.

    It looks great!

  35. Graymalkin Says:

And I see Bobby borrowed Stasia’s silver Sharpie to sign it! Cool!

  36. Steve Says:

I am jealous. I even upgraded to priority for a numbered copy and it still hasn’t arrived =(

  37. Norman728 Says:

GASP!!!!!! If the super-special Kung-fu editions are shipping I eagerly await the Normal edition I ordered on July 5th

  38. Bobby Crosby Says:

They actually all started shipping at the same time — had some delays unrelated to waiting on the hardcovers. Just going in order of when they were ordered.

  39. Bobby Crosby Says:

Someone from the chat link in the blog post asked me how I’m going to find someone big enough to play Denny, but I was away from the computer and now they’ve left the chat. Anyway: SHAQ.

  40. Micah Says:

Cute picture, can’t wait for more fun filler stuff. Maybe a whole wedding album?

  41. Doppelganger Says:

There are a few very large black actors who could play Denny, without having to resort to Shaq. Unless you like Shaq, there’s nothing wrong with that…

so when do you start auditioning people?

Because I loved this from the start, but going back through and reading it all together, the pacing is very nice.

  42. invulove Says:

I got my copy just recently ^^ Its AMAZING! I love it, and it’s so much more awesomer now that I have it in print, and I can just read it all the way through without having to scroll down and click next =3
And I love the whole silver sharpie autograph =] Awesome Bobby, just awesome..
    <3s

  43. Bobby Crosby Says:

“There are a few very large black actors who could play Denny, without having to resort to Shaq.”

Shaq’s a great actor and he’s the only one even close to the height of the comic version of Denny, although that insane height isn’t required for the film, of course.

“so when do you start auditioning people?”

LOL. As soon as you give me $10 million.

  44. Alicia Says:

;-; I am still waiting for my copy

…but I’m enjoying reading the comments on this page ;D

  45. Doppelganger Says:

really? hm. what’s his best work?

oh and I’ll get started on that $10M.

  46. Bobby Crosby Says:

    “Steel” is probably his best.

  47. Flying Circle Says:

Actually Michael Duncan is a really good black actor.

  48. Panitek Says:

so is Michael Clarke Duncan ( the gcreen mile, planet of the apes, the scropion king) too old? he can play someone really gentle or nasty. how about Brian Dennehy for the dad?

  49. Bobby Crosby Says:

Michael Clarke Duncan is nowhere close to as big as Denny, but as I said, doesn’t have to be that big for the movie. Ideally Denny would be under 30, and Clarke and Shaq are too old, but I think Shaq could pull it off. Don’t think Clarke could. Don’t like Dennehy for the dad. Way too old, among other reasons. Jeff Bridges would be good.

  50. Gwynny Says:

    TOMMY “TINY” LISTER FOR DENNY.

    CHECK IT.

  51. Bobby Crosby Says:

He’s almost as old as Michael Clarke Duncan — both in their 50s — and he’s almost as short as him too. Duncan’s 6′5″, Lister’s 6′7″, while Shaq is 15 years younger than them and about seven inches taller, and better in every other regard too for the role. It’s really strange how people since the beginning of this site have CONSTANTLY been suggesting people who are way too old for the roles. Many people have said Sean Connery for Mr. Tyler, for example, and the names go on and on. Most people have suggested actors in their 40s to play Guy (Patrick Dempsey, George Clooney) and in their 70s or 80s to play most of the other roles.

    My current ideal cast:

    Stasia — Kristen Bell
    Guy — Chris Evans
    Parker — Lizzy Caplan
    Janny — Jessica Biel
    Mr. Tyler — Jeff Bridges
    Denny — Shaquille O’Neal

  52. Jenn Says:

Hey Bobby!! If you’re ever in the market for doing another comic and need an artist, send an email my way. I’ve been dying to do one and none of my friend’s will write for me. TT^TT

the only one i could get that was gonna learned to draw stick figures and now thinks he’s the best artist in the world and wont let me help.

If you’re curious or want to, you have my email from paypal, let me know and i’ll link you to my deviant art or send you some stuff.

  53. Angus the cat Says:

I miss Guy’s scrufflies… But it is a lovely pic, great work! ;)

  54. josh Says:

I think that rebbeca could be played by oprah…

  55. Jenn Says:

OMG!!!! JOSH READ MY MIND.. I was TOTALLY gonna say that yesterday… but didnt wanna risk anyone being dumb and yelling at me. XD

  56. Alex Says:

You probably would want actors who are in their 20’s for the main cast, probably new up-and-comers, perhaps even talented unknowns. For mr tyler…hmmm…perhaps Alan Rickman? 62 is a bit old it true, but his appearance and stern face seems to partially match (we’re talking his regular appearance rather than his appearance as seen in the harry potter movies) alternatively, a good actor who is at least 10 years younger than the former, would be Liam Neeson…52…just slightly different from jeff bridges, but in terms of ability, still a good option. just some thoughts on that… erm, denny…dunno anyone who matches that discription, but perhaps find a young body-builder or wrestler to try and match his physique.

ok, i know this is very vague…it’s just a thought…or two

  57. Alex Says:

Oh! oh! another thought or two, perhaps for Guy, you could get Josh Groban (27)…while he is mostly a singer, he can act, and his appearance is about right, save for the fact that his hair is curly rather than straight like Guy’s.
For Stacia or Janny, perhaps you could consider someone like Anne Hathaway? (most likely for Janny though)

  58. Bobby Crosby Says:

It doesn’t matter anyway. There’s almost no chance that I’d have any say on the casting, especially if it’s possible that big stars would be in it. J.K. Rowling wasn’t even involved in the Harry Potter casting, other than to guarantee upfront that it would be an all British cast. Those are the worst movies of all time, by the way. (Best books.)

Hathaway could be a decent Janny, but I highly doubt she’d take the role. Groban wouldn’t work at all. Rickman and Neeson would never take the role and I don’t think either of them are a good fit.

  59. Alex Says:

Just want to help…love the comic by the way, been here since early on…a fantastic and humourous story…

  60. Graymalkin Says:

Jessica Biel playing second fiddle to Kristen Bell? I doubt Ms Biel’s agent would allow that. :-D

  61. Bobby Crosby Says:

She’s played second fiddle many times to worse actresses, including after losing roles to them.

  62. MarcusRaven Says:

    Hey, Bobby,
I’m still a bit concerned about the shipping of the hardcovers. My order page still says that its in the last stages of processing or has already shipped. (It was one of the signed hardcovers.) Since you’ve said they’re now shipping, I was hoping for this page to update. I don’t know if its the site, or what, but I’m getting a little concerned and impatient. (I really want it!) My order number is 1189, if you’re able to look into that. Keep up the great work!

  63. Doppelganger Says:

Eh, if anything, you’d want to cast one medium-sized young star as Stasia (possibly one of the many singer-actresses coming through these days?) or possibly Guy and cast the rest with unknowns (or potentially cast Dad with a well-known but not “huge star” actor who would lend credibility without demanding much or drawing all the attention – much like Harvey Keitel did for Reservoir Dogs

It’s really not all that demanding of a film, budget-wise; the two big things that push it over the norm are the concert and potentially the African scenes, though there are certain workarounds for each. But unless a studio decided they wanted to push this as their big romantic comedy for the year, loading it with big-name talent would only drive costs up.

  64. Doppelganger Says:

Of course, the best way to get B.C. the power & influence to get a script option, production deal, and/or any level of creative input or control would be to make Marry Me a huge hit comic, so everyone start buying lots of copies…

  65. Bobby Crosby Says:

“Since you’ve said they’re now shipping, I was hoping for this page to update.”

That page will never update — you’ll just get your book.

“But unless a studio decided they wanted to push this as their big romantic comedy for the year, loading it with big-name talent would only drive costs up.”

Almost every studio picture nowadays costs a trillion dollars to make.

“the best way to get B.C. the power & influence to get a script option, production deal, and/or any level of creative input or control”

Won’t be optioning anything to do with “Marry Me.” Will only be selling the script.

  66. beth Says:

I received the book yesterday. love, love, love it!!! :) I had to sit down and read it all over again! :)

  67. Jon Pander Says:

    Katy Says:
“Stasia’s dress LOOKS very neat, but how on EARTH would she WALK in it? I mean … wow. I’m looking at that thinking “I’d trip and fall down like at the first step” Hehe.”

Tive words – roller skates and a pull rope.
    Duh.

    Bobby: “My current ideal cast:
    Stasia — Kristen Bell
    Guy — Chris Evans
    Parker — Lizzy Caplan
    Janny — Jessica Biel
    Mr. Tyler — Jeff Bridges
    Denny — Shaquille O’Neal”

Cool, I guessed two of them in advance, many many pages ago (Shaq and Biel)

“LOL. As soon as you give me $10 million.”
You’re never going to lend me that $20, are you…

“It’s really strange how people since the beginning of this site have CONSTANTLY been suggesting people who are way too old for the roles.”
Many of those people have grown up watching 20 and 30-somethings playing teenagers on shows like Buffy and 90210. Their views on ages have been skewed by Hollywood.
Luke Perry, for instance, will probably be playing teenagers or 20-somethings for the next 40 years.

“Shaq’s a great actor and he’s the only one even close to the height of the comic version of Denny, although that insane height isn’t required for the film, of course.”
Not like he doesn’t have experience playing characters from comics… He was a great John Henry Irons in STEEL. :)

  68. Jon Pander Says:

Tive, as everyone knows, is slang that incredibly cool people, like myself, use for the number ‘five’. It’s short for ‘Totally Five’.

    It wasn’t a typo, honest.

  69. Cookie Says:

Pander, your quick wit never ceases to amaze me…. really it doesn’t…….. heheheh

  70. Alicia Says:

    Pander is back! ^_~

And is very right about the age thing *nods*

  71. Giselle Says:

Got my book the other day, so glad to add it to my graphic novel collection. You guys rule, and this new pic is great. :)

  72. Giselle Says:

Also just wondered if anyone had figured out Stasia’s full first name is Anastasia. ;) (Ana + Stasia = Anastasia) I haven’t been reading all the comments on every page, but I hadn’t seen anyone else mention that. :3

  73. Zoey Says:

I just finished the colored version of this comic and…. i’m totally in love with it…to bad it’s the end.
but do u guy know another comic made by Remy “Eisu” Mokhtar?? (i already read “No Pink Ponies)
Remy “Eisu” Mokhtar is great and his/hers storyes are great too….I JUST LOVE THEM!!!

  74. Saigan Says:

    Really enjoyed the comic :)
Still waiting for my book in the mail, but then again it’ll probably take a while to reach the UK :)

Would like to thank Bobby and Eisu for a great comic and look forward to seeing the movie one day :)

  75. Mihoshi Says:

Joy! My hardcover just shipped, and I even got a tracking number, so I can followz it!

  76. featherae Says:

Hey, are we supposed to get an email that tells us that the book we ordered is being shipped? I haven’t gotten mine yet and I wasn’t sure if that was ever going to happen because I don’t have any info… any way to find out??

  77. Bobby Crosby Says:

I don’t think an e-mail is sent, but all orders will be finished shipping out pretty soon finally. Thanks for your patience. Absolutely nothing to worry about. Sorry for the very long wait.

  78. Paulina Says:

Is it just me, or is Stasia’s sister’s baby the cutest baby EVER?!

  79. Norman728 Says:

    It’s just you…..

    Me I prefer Janny’s Sister’s niece.

  80. Norman728 Says:

    I meant nephew
(I totally ruined my own joke.)

  81. Galamere Says:

No worries on the wait mate, can’t rush quality ^_^

Can’t wait to get my collectors issue, thought you all were still another month off for being ready, so it will be a pleasant surprise there ^_^

  82. Shaun Says:

    W00T!
I got finally got my copy today. It is awesome, I am glad I shelled out for the signed hardcover copy.

  83. Noice Says:

Read since the beginning…loved every strip..great work!

cant wait for the side stories, hope they are comin along alright :)

  84. Miod Says:

Hardcovers have reached western Europe, I got mine in the mail this morning.

  85. Nandy Says:

    Great photo!
Can’t wait to get my hardcover version, I see that it’s arrived in Europe… hope it reaches Oz sooooon!

  86. MihoshiK Says:

    Yay! Got my hardcover yesterday!

    (Europe, Netherlands)

  87. Norman728 Says:

If it’s reached Europe I can’t wait until It reaches Philadelphia. I have to re-read it to get ready.

  88. Fred Says:

Love this strip and No Pink Ponies by Eisu. I think the readership would be better on both strips if he’d just either update regularly or let his readers know what’s going on. I know I’ll go a week or more without checking either site, just to see that there’s no update and no news about an update. It gets kind of discouraging.

  89. Micah Says:

Fred: He has told people what’s going on with Marry Me. The COMIC IS OVER. Did you miss that somehow?

Pander: Good to see you’re still around. Witty as always.

  90. Bobby Crosby Says:

Micah, if you’re somehow serious about the comic being over, what the hell? Banned either way.

  91. Fred Says:

There was something about sequels/prequels, right?

  92. Mihoshi Says:

Holy heck people, there sure are some people with a reading disability here. It says RIGHT ON THE TOP OF THE PAGE, UNDERNEATH THE COMIC, that it isn’t over, and that short prequel/sequel comics are being planned.
    Reading comprehension people, it’s essential.

    For fucks sake…

  93. Galamere Says:

Just got the notification in my mail that it’s been sent, looking forward to it ^_^ I’m suppose to be getting the signed hard cover, here’s to hoping.

  94. Galamere Says:

Got it in the mail today, couldn’t be happier with the book ^_^, well, I could, bit it’s small things. I was hoping for some nice, glossy pages, no go there, but it is nice to see it in a larger format than I usually view it. Second was the lack of the wedding photo, but that is a minor gripe. I understand on both accounts regardless, the glossy paper is costly, I can understand that, the photo was drawn after the book went to print, so again, no biggie there :)

    Now for the good/great ^_^
The hard cover and silver emboss is simply beautiful, I was expecting a rather loud color cover in some way like most comics, but this one is a quite tasteful maroon, even my folks, who dropped by as I got my mail, were impressed, and when I told them it was a comic my mum said she didn’t even want to know how much I had paid for it ^_^ The binding looks to be quite strong, so it should even hold up to my frequent reading of these great strips. As mentioned before the larger format was a nice surprise, I was expecting something a bit more manga sized initially like with the Sluggy books. I’m usually not the one for happy surprises (On the receiving end at least) and I was this time ^_^

Keep up the great work you all, and I look forward to Vol. 2 ^_^

Oh, and my number is 380/500 :)

  95. Norman Says:

It’s here! It finally reached Califonia! And the silver sharpie says: 269/500!

Galamere is right, it looks great.

Great job, guys! I hope to see something from volumes 0 and/or 2 soon!

  96. Norman728 Says:

JUST got my shipping confirmation!!! Hurray Now my paranoia about it shipping can focus on the Evil robots watching my every move.

  97. Althalus Says:

I preordered this at my local comic shop. Any word on when it’ll ship through Diamond?

  98. Jazzjr Says:

Still waiting, wondering when It’ll get to Arizona.

  99. Norman728 Says:

I was waiting and waiting for my mail to come. When it did I was disappointed it still wasn’t there. Then……..

I heard My door re-open and close, I Ran back and……

HAPPY DAY HAPPY DAY!!!!!!!, IT CAME!!!! (Notified on Oct. 2 Received on OCT. 6 and all the way from SD to PA)

I promptly Ripped the tab on the envelope and Re-read it there on my porch. It was a little surreal reading it on paper not a Screen but still as funny as ever. (Though for some reason expect glossy pages)
But still a quality Book. Can’t wait to see it on screen whether Movie or TV Live action or animated(Animation is big these days)….

    Thank You very Much

  100. Rikko Says:

When are you going to continue the comic??? *sob*

  101. Rikko Says:

I meant when are you going to put up the stories of how Guy and Parker met and how he saved his sister’s babies, etc.

  102. Bobby Crosby Says:

Soon hopefully. I was away from the computer when you were instant messaging me (or at least I assume it was you).

“I preordered this at my local comic shop. Any word on when it’ll ship through Diamond?”

I don’t think it will be — missed the cancellation deadline. Order it through us!

  103. Sam Says:

This is such a nice picture, I wish my wedding photo could look like this whenever I get married, lol.

  104. Caspar Says:

I just got my copy today, Thanks alot Bobby and Eisu for making this possible. I realy hope that you’ll be able to continue this comic with some small storys (and if i may say so, if there is a movie 2, ill go and “see” it imediantly)

  105. Jenn Says:

    Blah… Updating to Deviantart is a P.i.t.a.

  106. Jenn Says:

    How’s it going, Bobby?

  107. Mandi Says:

    I have 3 new things to say…

    1. Jenn you can draw my comic if you want leave me a message on my page^

    2. Shaq was also a genie in the early 90s…i can’t remember the name though.

    3. Also I just had the greatest thought ever…Ruben Studdard for Denny…lol

  108. Noice Says:

    Shazzam.

  109. Norman728 Says:

    I believe Shaq’s genie was Kazam(spelling?)

  110. Mino Says:

Hey wow, this story was so good, I will definitly try and find a way to buy it. It’s so good, gunna show it to my friends too :D
I can’t wait to see the mini stories!

  111. Capt. Hardman Says:

Well, are you now going back to Nopinkponeys?

  112. Lady Amber Says:

Sweet nifty ending way to go!!!!!
    ;) :) {*v*} :P :D

  113. Mandi Says:

no responce to Ruben…I’m disappointed in you all

    lol

  114. CIndy Says:

    omg! guy shaved! :o

  115. Brent Says:

Okay, just found this today, and I read it all the way through in one sitting — great comic and can’t wait for the movie!

    Soooo……how long til that nextstory? ;) :)

  116. Fuff Says:

After several months of looking at this picture, the more I look at her wedding dress, the more it looks like a giant tampon to me.

  117. Jenn Says:

    Bobby, Mandi,

And who ever else might care.

I FINALLY updated my deviant art!!

    http://mokabeanteen324.deviantart.com/

    Oh, and Mandi, SURE!!

  118. Becky Says:

    To Fuff:

    Can’t unsee now.

  119. Mandi Says:

    YAY!!
I have to finish up some more pages and actually get into the story a bit. I had a story set up but my old computer crashed and I lost the backup. My friend was supposed to be the original artist and she has the hard copy…I don’t really talk to her anymore.

Also I’m probably going to post it on drunkduck^ unless I can find a better free way of posting it.

  120. Althalus Says:

“I preordered this at my local comic shop. Any word on when it’ll ship through Diamond?”

“I don’t think it will be — missed the cancellation deadline.”

Are you really sure? As great as your book is, I don’t really need 2 copies and the just updated Diamond cancellation list for November only lists the book as “late”, not as “cancelled”.

  121. Valgios Says:

    really nice comic… i loved it… it was amazing…

  122. Bobby Crosby Says:

Diamond is horrible. They didn’t pick up the books from the printer in July and then failed to respond to our e-mails and then told us it was cancelled in September. It will not be in stores. Only place to get it is ordering from us through the link in the blog post above.

  123. Althalus Says:

Okay, thanks for the confirmation. I’ll order from you, then.

  124. Katez-chan Says:

Have you started any of the short stories yet? If so, where are they being posted and, if not, will they be posted here?
…also, will there actually be a movie? If there will be, I hope they use the EXACT lines used here. Also, who would they get to play Parker?

  125. Jenn Says:

@ Bobby, RE: Your ideal cast.

Kristin Bell would make an adorable Stasia.

I love her in Heroes, Elle’s probably one of my favorite characters.

  126. DaVince Says:

I read the whole comic in one sigh. AWESOME writing and drawing job, creators! :D Can’t wait to see sequel stories!

  127. KayRis Says:

*sigh* still no more comic. Good thing I took this off my list of stuff to check daily. Otherwise this would be really frustrating.

  128. TangentDi Says:

I read it again, and still. Simply amazing.

  129. SSand Says:

Gah… Found this today, read it all in one go. And am starting again from the start. :)

Got to see about ordering that hardcover, that way I’d have something I can let myf riends read.

Also: YAY for ebarded guys! Too few of us in good roles.

  130. The Lady Ford Says:

Might I make just a teennssyyyyyy suggestion? I read this comic a while ago, up until the then-last strip (Just before Stasia’s dad comes to the hopsital), and only recently refound it thanks to an ad on Sinfest.

Well, it kind of super really sucked to be suddenly blasted with an image of Stasia and Guy’s wedding. I mean, woaahhhhhhh, can you say MASSIVE spoiler?

For new readers, or even returning readers who never finished the comic, might you put up a different image for the “homepage” of the website? You know, like, a little “Thanks for reading, more stories to come!” image? So that readers aren’t immediately assailed with the ending of the comic?

Just a thought… great effing comic, by the way. I really hope it gets turned into a movie soon.

  131. Rin Says:

i started reading this last night and this has kept me so entertained that i kept reading and reading and reading, until i finished.

i MUST say that this is perhaps THE greatest online comic that i have read. It has great characters, beautiful art and a GREAT plot. I really felt connected with the characters after i read this and i can’t wait for you guys to make more.

    thanks for a great read.

  132. Rin Says:

oh also, when you guys get a booth for comic con 09, tell me so i can visit it.
I’m probably gonna buy whatever you guys have there for it.

    oh as for this page,
its a really great picture, kudos to eisu.

  133. Rush Says:

i must say i found this through stumble and i just read through the whole thing in an hour or so this was one of the most amazing story lines Ive ever seen i hope you do some more work

  134. Zach Says:

Hey, I’ve never really commented on a comic before, but I came across yours a couple of hours ago and just wanted to let you know that I was really impressed. I know that I can read it for free, but I bought the book anyway to help keep you guys creating. Please let me know if you ever start another comic.

  135. Tim Says:

  137. Benny B Says:

Just read the story from start to finnish (works pretty slow these days.lol), after seeing the ad on sinfest. didnt know what to expect as it looked like a chicks comic, but…..i really loved it. Well freakin’ done. Story, Characters (i can relate to guy. he’s a good guy without being girlish. wish i could be more like him. Not the not being less girlish thing.lol the good guy thing) , Graphics, all freakin’ mint!!!
Gonna send my friends the link right now!!

    Can’t wait to see more.

  138. S. Says:

In my mind EISU can do no wrong : )
Just discovered this today and while I told myself I’d go slow I ended up finishing the whole thing. You guys are awesome. Thanks for taking me back, Ace!

  139. S. Says:

Oh BTW, I saw the AD on sinfest too.. while I like Sinfest, the latest batch of humour there was not really my thing and this was a welcome escape.

  140. Andrew Says:

I may found about this comic late..It was still a good read I will order this sometime soon

  141. Luke J. Says:

Heh I saw this on advertisements on Sore thumbs. Glad I read it. Bobby, Eisu, hasn’t your mother ever told you not to take stuff from other people?? gimme back my tears and quit pulling on my heart strings. wonderfully done comic. mayhaps when I go to a con I’ll buy the book.

  142. Calia Says:

You know, it just hit me… why is Guy’s sister not in their wedding?

  143. Bobby Crosby Says:

She’s crazy. Could be any number of reasons. Also, she’s probably there, of course, but just not in this specific photo. Can’t fit everybody into every photo.

  144. BinkiBonsai Says:

Who are the 2 blokes on the left under Denny?

  145. Bobby Crosby Says:

First panel of Page 8, then Page 49.

  146. Luke J. Says:

wow it just dawned on me… parker was in sore thumbs also! and she was at a stasia concert… or was supposed to be…. :O

    Ditto everything said before me.

Found this a few days ago and just got through the archives. It was highly enjoyable and when I get the means to, I’ll be sure to order a book!

  150. Karolina Says:

This was such a wonderful comic. I’m trying to buy a comic now, but as I live in Poland, I’m having trouble with placing the order :s I’ve already sent an email to KeenSpot, won’t give up that easily!

Man, really… an incredibly heart-warming story, beautiful in it’s simplicty:
