Pre-order now!

We did it! Met the deadline and we just sent the full graphic novel off to the printers! Big thanks to Eisu for the incredible work he’s done on this book, especially in the last 11 days, drawing 11 pages in that time at the highest quality. He’s the best.

THE COMIC IS NOT OVER AND IT WILL CONTINUE!

There can’t be a regular sequel to this story — you won’t be seeing a Marry Me 2 in theaters obviously — but we’ll be doing comics of short stories featuring the characters, with the first one starting within about 10 days probably! And then we hope to do at least one page per week. The first story will probably be a prequel showing how Guy and Parker met and became friends in high school, which was right around the time Stasia’s career started taking off, which they’ll take note of!

PRE-ORDERS ARE NOW BEING TAKEN FOR THE MARRY ME GRAPHIC NOVEL! CLICK HERE FOR ALL ORDERING INFO!

WE SHIP WORLDWIDE AND WE ACCEPT PAYPAL, CREDIT CARDS, AND CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS!

I strongly suggest re-reading the whole graphic novel from the start, how it was designed to be read. That will also help eliminate a lot of repeated questions.

You should check back soon for a big piece of Marry Me art that Eisu plans to do in the next few days, a poster showing a scene that many of you have asked to see more of!

And I hope I’ll see a lot of you at the San Diego Comic-Con next month! Come by the Blatant Comics booth, #1328, where we’ll be selling the Marry Me and Last Blood graphic novels!

SPECIAL OFFER, LIMITED TIME ONLY: If you order the signed and numbered (500 only!) hardcover edition and you show me proof of that (printed out receipt/e-mail) at Comic-Con, I will give you a FREE regular paperback edition! The hardcover book is gonna be really nice, but it will probably take a little longer to print and we most likely won’t have it at San Diego. You can also choose to get a free Last Blood graphic novel instead. Order now!

And for fans of Last Blood, you can now order that graphic novel as well! Combine your orders to save on shipping!

  2. Dee Says:

    Yay it’s over!!!

    Awww it’s over!

The happiest saddest moment I’ve had with a webcomic! Can’t wait to see more!

    Dee

  3. kyevan Says:

    MARRY ME!

  4. coco Says:

    d’awwwwwwwwww

  5. Anthony Says:

    Wow. I’m like

    wow…

    Just.

    *sighs dreamily*

Great ending. I know all those people.

So… what am I supposed to do now?

    *twiddles thumb*…

    anyone wanna get married?

  6. Kchan Says:

I’ve been following this comic for a while, but been.. I dunno, almost too shy to post?

But I have to say, this is an amazing ending. =D

I love all the characters in the audience – and did Parker get a girlfriend?

    Amazing.

The story and the art, both are amazing.

I’ll continue to be around to see the sequels – I can’t wait.

  7. Rosebud Says:

Yay! That was a great trip (I started reading around #30, not quite at the start, but at least most of the year). Thank you Bobby and Thank you Eisu! I hope you don’t have too many grey hairs or thinning patches. =) And I look forward to the film. And…

Ordering several books! (When will that info be available? =)

As for the last, let’s see…

    - There’s something amusing and scary about their Priest having a “Marry Me” sign.
    - I hope the driver gets to visit Africa.
    - Awwwwww. Parker has someone now. :) Maybe they’ll visit California in a sequel? *grin*
    - Is that her dad’s assistant?
    - Denny is looking snazzy.

And slight mention … will Parker get her sign signed? (It would be fun if it was signed in silver marker. :) )

Again, thanks for the ride! And I’m looking forward to ordering a few copies for self and family and friends.

  8. LazerWulf Says:

Way to go, guys. This is the perfect ending to this story.

Can’t wait for the print version. Will definitely buy it.

  9. the captain Says:

    congrats on finishing it.

    and thanks for the ride

  10. Jenn Says:

This was the best ending ever!! so cute!!!

thanks for an awesome comic Bobby and Eisu!!

    Parker’s gf is hot..

  11. Zeusandhera Says:

Hooray! Great work! I sure hope to see this in theaters!

And thanks for doing more comics.

  12. Skell Says:

    So that’s it… So beautiful. A fine finish indeed :) .
Now I really enjoyed the whole comic, even if I started reading it when it was half-done already. By looking at the first page ande every next I can say that Eisu did an awesome job, and that it seems his style improved over this 91 pages :) . And story was really great too, you did a really good job.

It’s as I thought. A bit sweet, and a bit bitter parting, but I will hang around here and look forward to see the next short stories :) . Keep up the great work.

And thank you both very much :) .

  13. Colton Says:

    Wow, Bobby, that is amazing.

I can’t thank you enough for all the excellent work you’ve done on this amazing comic. Just an outstanding plotline and well thought out characters, but who am I to criticize….

Remy “Eisu”, AMAZING totally amazing and purely awesome artwork. Just beautiful.

Scraping whatever I can from beneath the couch cushions for when I have enough to order a copy.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

  14. Joanna Says:

I think Parker is still wearing the pants…

  15. kyevan Says:

Denny looks like he’s saying “Told ya so”. doesn’t he? This is nearly a cast picture, too… of the people I can think of, Christian, and Mr. Taylor are all that are missing.

We need a wallpaper version of that last panel, eventually :P

  16. Taco_Ninja Says:

Now Is that the preist on the side that married them on stage the first time… I think it is.

  17. Cookie Says:

I’m so happy. Thank you so much, Bobby and Eisu, you’ve made this the best comic I’ve ever read. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!

    :D

  18. Scruffy Says:

… As I have said to my webcomic reading friends IRL, this comic has a whole lot of awesome packed into it.

Also. Jenn? I agree. Parker’s girlfriend has a pretty serious amount of hotness going there. Put together with Parker, and she is a fire hazard.

I will now repeat, Bobby, how much I have enjoyed reading the comic. If I had any money, I would totally be ordering a copy of the graphic novel, unfortunately, I am presently self employed.

As a side note? Self employed, as a term, when used by the common man? Yeah, it generally means unemployed.

  19. Rockphed Says:

Hey, look! It is a cave troll in a suit! Ain’t nobody getting past Denny.

  20. nekki Says:

his that harmony from sore thumbs holding the sign with parker? if so.. she’s still really cute

  21. Cookie Says:

oh, and by the way, does anyone else reckon that the girl Parker’s with is the same girl from Sore Thumbs? maybe it’s just me, whatever. and thank you again guys!!!!

  22. Sari Says:

aaaaah! Thank you both so much!!! Fantastic job! Couldn’t think of a better ending!!!! :) :):)

“So… what am I supposed to do now?

    *twiddles thumb*…

    anyone wanna get married?”

Have to say, that’s almost identical to what was going through my head. :)

All these happy weddings. Need to add myself to the ranks, dangit! ;)
Thanks for all your work, Eisu and Bobby. :)

  23. Rosebud Says:

Okay, I got a little too excited and posted before reading Bobby’s summary. I was was a bit of a loser there, but please don’t be too mad at me. :) I’ll wait the hour for the ordering info.

In other random comments and thoughts,

    - Would it classy or distracting if Denny had a “Marry Me” lapel pin?
    - Guy and Parker almost seem to be wearing what they did at the first concert? Guy added a jacket, and Stasia has a different shirt. She’s not wearing the arm band or Stasia’s pants that Joanna mentioned, though. (There are no holes in her pants on the side from what I can tell. Would be funny, though.)
    - Hee hee. That seems to be Gary on the right back (since he doesn’t need to control a wire) :)
    - Who are the two on the right back side? Don’t seem to be Richmond.
    - I feel like I’m missing the obvious, but who is Parker with? Is that Harmony or someone else?
    - And Yay Rebecca!

    Thanks again!!!

  24. Alsam Says:

Great job to both of you.

That was a great story and it superbly drawn.

Félicitations à tous les deux !!!

    I’ll definitely pre-order.

  25. Annie Says:

Aww, I love it! Great work! Congrats on finishing – I can’t wait for this to continue, but this is the best ending to anything…ever! :)

  26. Bobby Crosby Says:

Parker’s girl is NOT HARMONY or ANYONE ELSE. Totally new person.

  27. Myrrh Says:

O-kay. Since this is the end – for this story at least – I should get out of long time lurkerdome and compliment you, Bobby and Eisu.
I cannot express how much fun I had reading Marry me, but it was a LOT. Like I enjoy eating chocolate. That much, and maybe even a bit more.
Thank you so much for one of the best webcomics EVER. I also like the fact that Parker seems to have found someone (I cannot resist the happy endings).
I would like to buy a copy. I don’t know if I can make it work – don’t have paypal or creditcard – but maybe I can borrow my boyfriends cc.

Thank you, thank you for Marry Me. As said by countless people before, it is made of AWESOME, which makes the artist and creator awesome by default. (= stab at annoying “critics” people). YOU ROCK!

  28. Mel-C Says:

And we’re back to the beginning :) Stasia, you lucky chick. *sniff* This is a great and overwhelming ending. Thanks, Bobby and Eisu.

(heh heh… I spot the sad guy [who originally wanted to marry Stasia] behind Guy. Here’s a star for that *toss*)

  29. Carley Says:

Aww, that was a really sweet ending :) The look on Stasia’s face is awesome there!

Out of curiosity – is the person behind Guy the one who originally lamented that Stasia hadn’t married him because he didn’t have pink hearts on his poster? Maybe I’m wrong; it just looked like him.

  30. Bobby Crosby Says:

    Yes, that’s him.

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: The priest who married them, Denny, Gary (a few rows back, see Page 4), the bus driver, Rebecca (leader of the Umoja tribe), Parker’s new girlfriend (never seen her before, new character, no name), Parker, the guy from Page 22, and Guy.

  31. Yume Says:

This page left me with a big smile on my face. Love the cameos… seeing the bus driver and the priest especially made me giggle. And I love that Parker has someone. Definitely the “feel good” ending I think all of us have been waiting to see.

Anyway… as a fan of Eisu, I’ve been reading this from the beginning (ever since he advertised it for the first time), and I have to say, you guys do great work together. I very much enjoyed Marry Me, even if it is a little hard to believe it’s over! =)

Thanks, both of you, for working so hard and making something so wonderful!

  32. Andrew Says:

Oh man. been reading this comic since page 7 was released. It’s hard to imagine any day in the recent months without imagining me checking this site for an update. I have to say, this is possibly the best way to end this story, and I applaud you both for it. It’s been a hell of a trip. Thanks for the ride.

also for anyone looking, the guy behind Guy (sounds more confusing than it is) reminds me of the guy WAY back, the one being interviewed who also had a sign. I remember someone saying that he was an early design for Guy. That would be LOL on a grand scale…and ironic if you think about it. (I used guy four times in that statement [I think that's my one and only complaint about this story])

  33. Kristina Says:

I’ve been following this storyline since the very beginning, wonderful job! I hope to see Guy, Ana, Parker, Janny and Parker some time again :D Will be keeping an eye on the Marry Me comic, as well as I have on No Pink Ponies ;)

  34. Gamma Says:

Every single fiber of my being is begging for me to scream and shout this, so I’m gonna do it, and take the last panel COMPLETELY out of context.

    PARKER X JANNY FTW!

    Slashfiction go! =P

Oh wait… that’s a different girlfriend who looks like her.

No matter! She is still Janny in my mind!

  35. LoopyChew Says:

This is just pure awesomeness and I want to congratulate the two of you on a job well done. :-)

  36. Milkymalk Says:

I also thought first that it was Janny, the clothes are very similar, only the hair is shorter.
Great last few pages, it’s amazing what you can do in such short time!

  37. Bobby Crosby Says:

PRE-ORDER THE GRAPHIC NOVEL RIGHT NOW!

  38. Shaun Says:

    Wow.

    Just wow.

I’ve been reading since page 54 released and I have to say that this is by far my favorite comic. Its so great to actually see this story wrap up as nicely as it has. I love the art style and the writing is superb for lack of better words at 4am. I cant wait to see more from you guys. By the way if I had the money I would def order a copy, but I’m a poor college student.

  39. darktail Says:

…Well, Bobby, Eisu, it was a great ride.
…Been here since page 14, commented only once or twice (been afraid of writing something totally stupid), and loved every single character (especially Guy *drools*) that I laid my eyes on.
…I truly hope that a movie will be effectively made (and let’s hope they don’t butcher the story if they pretend to “adjust” it a bit), since it will be one of they very few comedy/romantic movies I’ll ever see (not much into them, even though I’m a girl)
…I hope to see you soon with the “extra files” (but do take your time to recover if you are still sick Bobby).
…Kudos to both of you, seeing you again in ten days or so, then.

  40. Mary Says:

Even though it’s the end… I can’t even think of that right now. I just feel so happy.

You have no idea how big of a smile this put on my face. ~<3
    ( Nor how much I needed it. <33 )

  41. Chuck Says:

I’m with kyevan on the wallpaper thing. Pleeaaase?

Awesome job, you guys. I enjoyed this comic more than I can say.

  42. Malid Says:

Epic, even for smone one like me, i sent it to my fiance and other friends. Great story. Great art, very entertaining overall.

  43. Norman Says:

Great job, guys! Last panel is a perfect way to end this story.

I hope we get to meet Parker’s friend in the near future.

Office supply and art stores in the area of this show will need to restock now.

    Thanks for a great story!

  44. Eisu Says:

“Oh wait… that’s a different girlfriend who looks like her”

As artist, I have to say that the girl I drew looks NOTHING like Janny, different eyes

  45. timothy gaines Says:

hahaha i love the ending. i mean really there could be no other ending but this hahaha. you guys are great at what you do so keep on doing it.

  46. Woodland Owl Says:

    You guys rock.
My only complaint is that its now over!

  47. Jonathan Teatime Says:

…or you could end with something like that.

    B-D

    MARRY ME

  48. meh Says:

  49. Tigermoph Says:

Bravo chaps- or as we say in New Zealand; ka pai, teno pai.

Congratulations on a job well done. Even under massive time pressures the quality never wavered- one could even say you stepped it up for the occasion. Hats off to Bobby and Eisu both.

    n_n Cheers.

  50. invulove Says:

    # Jenn Says:

Yeah, go with ORGY, the fiance can join too. He’s sexy.

OH! OH! And.. When do Alicia, Invulove and I all get to see pictures of YOU? Hm, sir?

    —–

I also agree with the other commenters, Pander, Alicia, Invulove and I should all have our own plot line. XD

AMEN to what you said, Jenn ^^
i want to see pics <.< *glares at Jon Pander*
and anyone up for seeing our cameos in marry me? =P

  51. invulove Says:

for an actual comment to Eisu:
OH MY GOD you are my master @_@ your drawing abilities are freaking amazing.. this page was truly extraordinary =]
I’m so glad to be able to purchase something of yours ^^
    for Bobby:
MY GOD.. this comic had an intense, amazing storyline. Thank you so much for thinking this up, and making me feel like a little girl who believes in love again =] yay!
Much love to you both, Bobby and Eisu

  52. Kristen Says:

I just have to thank a few people.

Thank you, Bobby, for creating this wonderful story.

Thank you, Eisu, for drawing this amazingly. Is that a word?

And thanks to Scott from F@NBOY$ for recommending this webcomic, because I would have never found it otherwise.

I’d love to pre-order, I just have to see which version I can get. :P

  53. David D. Says:

  54. Marie-Claire Says:

  55. Noelle Rivera Says:

Sad it is over but *yaaaaaayyyyy*!!! Great work, guys!!! :)

  56. Alicia Says:

    Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  57. Arann Says:

    n_n

    nice ending…

(hey, there’s gary! and the truck driver who couldn’t go to africa? and the guy complaining about stasia not marrying him at the “first” concert? etc xD)

I’d pay to see (or hear-read) stasia’s response to that

  58. megan Says:

    I adore a happy ending :)

I think it’s cute that guy is the only one with an emphasis on the word “ME!” lol..It’s like he’s arguing with them.

  59. Girl Says:

    Awww…Parker’s got a girlfriend!

    And she has cleavage! Score!!

  60. Dan Says:

    Great comic.

On a personal note I wanted to see Guy and Stasia talk one last time before the end of the comic >.<

I am not sure why… I wanted to see them interact as a married couple, but that was just what I wanted to see and I am still fine with the end of this comic.

    ty for the story

  61. du5k Says:

Would be funny if guy’s sign reads

    “MarrIED me”

This was so awesome, so original and such a great romantic comedy.

  65. Caroline Says:

Can Eisu come back to doing NPP now? :(

  66. norman728 Says:

Nice ending…. I figured something like this would happen. my pre-order will soon be coming.

P.S. Parker’s beau does have shades of Janny Not an exact match but at first glance the eyes are different.

  67. Stuart Says:

Bobby, Eisu, I’ve been reading webcomics for years now, and I can honestly say few, if any, have compared to the satisfaction I’ve taken from reading Marry Me. It was well thought out and the smile this ending has put on my face is one of the biggest I’ve had in a long time. I want to thank you for an amazing job well done and look forward for things to come.

  68. Darkwish Says:

I’ve been reading this since the very beginning and it’s only gotten better. I’m sad that the main story is over, but I think it ended well. I can’t wait to see the side stories that have been promised.

Great job on the art Eisu and great job on the story Bobby!

  69. XWingMitch0 Says:

    Denny is Still the Man!!!

  71. Celes Says:

Aww man. Parker is just way too adorable. I’m gonna go melt from the cuteness.

  72. Kit Says:

Been reading ever since Eisu first advertised over at No Pink Ponies – excellently done!

I have a logistical question. If I’m going to be at Comic Con, should I pre-order the graphic novel, or should I just pick it up there?

  73. Maarten Says:

Haha, just started reading your story/comic today. Lucky me with it being complete just now :D

Loved the story , best of luck!

  74. Jill D. Says:

  80. Titanbull Says:

I have never commented on a comic website before (or any other for that matter) but I felt compelled to give you the props you deserve for this comic and story. There are very few stories in general out there that tell a good story and keep you entertained and then not be disappointed by the cliffhanger or outcome. This was an all around good trip. The art was right on with the emotion and situations and very professional. Another rarity. You gentlemen deserve all the accolades you accumulate.

  81. Skie Says:

Haha. Through the duration of this comic my sister met the man of her dreams, fell in love, and now I’ve been asked to be her maid of honor. It must be fate. Great comic! If it was a movie I’d so go see it.

  82. Erin Marie Says:

So I just preordered the hardcover version of your comic :) . It was that good. Only. . . I’ve never done anything like ordering something online before XD. Do I send the check after I get the book? Or before? If before, what’s the address I mail to? The website didn’t say.

  83. Mattz Says:

Major epic win right there, Bobby.

  84. Nemu Says:

Oh my god! I’ve read this almost from when it started, never commented but now that it’s done, I feel like leaving a comment.

Thanks for telling us this wonderful story with great writing and excellent quality to both art and story!

I can’t wait for a sequel… I hate seeing things end, but endings always make me grin to myself, too. I guess everyone that’s been reading this feels the same.

Congratulations on an excellent piece of work, Bobby and Eisu!

  85. Lucy Says:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! great novel :D loved the characters, love the story! keep it up guys ;)

  86. Hugetaru Says:

greatest comic in the world loved it the whole way!

  87. Kay Says:

Long-time reader, first-time commenter. I’ve been watching since the 5th page and I’m delighted to see this story wrap up in such a fulfilling and fun way. I’m really looking forward to new content (and the movie!) and I will absolutely buy the graphic novel… as soon as someone gives me a job. :\ *laid-off librarian/writer with too much education*

  88. Mike Says:

Just one thing that isn’t quite clear to me. Are Ana and Guy still married and together? From the last two pages I couldn’t really get it. It seems as if they are, but I really don’t know, since he is with the marry me poster, just as everyone else, and Janny said your “last” 4 boyfriends. Could someone explain please? I wanna think they are still together, cause if that’s not so, it would be really sad.

  89. Nienna Says:

I just pre-ordered too :) I love the comic! See your fans’ devotion, even a part-time Subway worker let go of the money for a copy, and I’ve never done that for another webcomic. I totally can’t wait for the movie! It’ll rock! Bobby and Eisu, you guys are awesome, thanks for sharing all that hard work with us!

  90. Elisa Says:

I hope in the prequel comics and stuff we see Parker in a different color xD

    Seriously, that’s a great ending

  91. omaley Says:

I’ve been reading this the first day it came out, Yay! good story :D

  92. kaitcat1124 Says:

    aaaw how sweet

  93. MobiusZero Says:

    over already??

  94. Angela Says:

I love the fact that Stacia is wearing the outfit her sister was in the beginning of the comic!
I didn’t realize that until I went and re-read those pages.

    Such a great turn-around for her c: She looks /much/ happier. ♥
This was a lovely and awesome ending for the comic.

  95. Karellen Says:

Congratulations. This was really nice, such as I have not seen in a while (and I’ve been around quite a while…)

    Looking forward to see more.
    Greetings from Argentina.

  96. Ayron Says:

I’ve followed both of your work for a while now (I remember when Marry Me started!) & I just wanted to thank you both & to congratulate you. I’ve really been delighted with MM & wish you all the best as you continue your work!

    -hw

  99. Brendan Says:

What do you want to bet Stasia’s next album will be “Marry Me”?

  100. Mike Says:

I love the beard, suit and tie on Denny! It makes him look more like a body guard, and less like a secrurity dude!XD

  101. Alex Says:

I love how Guy has the most colorful poster, at least of the ones that were prominent ones (someone probably has one that’s all sparkly somewhere, but I don’t see it, and I’m betting Stasia didn’t either.)

I’m going to miss this series, but I do look forward to seeing the continuing kind-of series. I’ll be keeping an eye out for it, of course.

Oh, and good job. This was just… Amazing, and congratulations on a job well done. You should be quite proud.

  102. Theinen Says:

i been staying away from the comments for a while so because i didn’t want anymore spoilers, so if this has been said, my bad. but nice friggin work on janny and stasia! no no, not the sex appeal that everybody else is talking about. but janny looks the exact same as before, but her hair comes down and forget sisters, they almost look like twins. and you did it without changing either one of their facial features, that’s a lot of skill man, coming from one artist to the other.

i know the usual way to do that is to make very slight changes to the characters that no one but an artist would notice, either your changes are really good or you just have that raw talent.

i don’t remember when i started reading the comic, whatever day that was i clicked on the link from LB, but doesn’t mean i enjoyed it any less. nice finish. and i read it all over again. now knowing that parker’s a lesbian…. anybody else find new meaning on the page where she had to pee and said “i’ve never been so happy to see a bush”? i laughed like a little schoolgirl….. a tough….manly schoolgirl..

  103. JJ B Says:

I’m… a bit confused actually. Why would they pick THIS concert of all of them to do the sea-of-posters thing? Is this Ana’s first concert appearance since the last one? You would think that with all the time that passed between when she last performed and now, she’d have performed at least a few times already?

  104. Cybrina Says:

i don’t really comment much, but i have to comment here. this is, honestly, the best comic i have ever read. i cant remember another time that i got so much joy from an update. thanks for the amazing story and drawing. you guys are awesome!!! i cant wait for the short stories and such that will follow. i will definitely see this in theaters!!

    <3 ~Cybrina~<3

  105. E13 Says:

    Awesome work. Thanks!

  106. Margarita Says:

Oh, I’m so happy. It ended so beautiful… Well, I really loved it all, so I’m gonna be waiting for the next webcomic, or to Last Blood to finish.
Thanks a lot for all these.

  107. Alfred Sydow Says:

    Love you man!….

  108. SharpEyes Says:

So. I been reading this. And, I gotta ask… You going to do one featureing that firecracker Parker? Jus’ wondering.

  109. Dani Says:

Love it love it love it! This comic always makes me grin. I can’t wait for the hard copy version to come out.

  110. Bobby Crosby Says:

“If I’m going to be at Comic Con, should I pre-order the graphic novel, or should I just pick it up there?”

You should pre-order the hardcover version, since that will probably take a little longer to print and we probably won’t have it at Comic-Con, and then if you show me a print-out proving that you pre-ordered the hardcover book, I’ll give you a regular paperback edition for free at the convention, because I’m awesome.

“Do I send the check after I get the book? Or before? If before, what’s the address I mail to?”

You’ll send the check before, and we’ll e-mail you by the end of the day with the address to mail it to! Thanks for your order!

“Are Ana and Guy still married and together?”

Yes, and they’re having a baby.

“Why would they pick THIS concert of all of them to do the sea-of-posters thing? Is this Ana’s first concert appearance since the last one?”

    Obviously it is.

“You would think that with all the time that passed between when she last performed and now, she’d have performed at least a few times already?”

Why? Years often go by without tours, and it was specifically stated that the opening concert was the last concert of her tour and last performance of the year.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS PRE-ORDERED — KEEP ‘EM COMING! The hardcover edition is gonna be really nice, and the offer I made earlier in this comment goes for everyone!

  111. Snuggz Says:

That was too cute, and Eisu you rock I can’t wait to see what’s next on NPP I love that strip as well. Great ending to a fantastic story thank you for making it, cant wait to see what’s next.

  112. Coughman Says:

Im looking forward to “Marry Me: Parker on Ice”

  113. Em Says:

    I love Guy’s sign. XD

and the driver’s in there!!! ( and the priest guy too!) That’s really funny XD

I just so wish that I had the money to buy a copy….
    poor me

    Great Job! <3

  114. Zippy Says:

Aw! Parker found a girlfriend! Cute.

  115. Tanya Says:

Excellent comic. My boyfriend got me reading it only a couple months ago but it was a great read.

We’ll be buying the hardcover soon I’m sure.

  116. LydiaRaven Says:

    Awww, is it over already? D;

but these last two pages…just sooo beautiful!

I especially love how the last page refers back to the first page, except, instead of all the saddness theres happiness :D

and looks like parker found someone too! =D <3

  117. cathie Says:

EXCELLENT WORK!! Great job, you guys!!
And yes, I’m waiting for Parker On Ice as well. haha

  118. Klowd Says:

I’ve been reading since page one, but as far as I can recall this is the only time I’ve ever commented.

Every page has been a delight. I loved every panel, every word balloon, everything. The story was magnificent, and Eisu’s art is amazing. I may read a lot of webcomics on a daily basis, but Marry Me has been by far one of my absolute favorites.

Can’t wait for the short stories, and definitely can’t wait for this to make it to theaters!

  119. Jazz Says:

That’s a wonderful ending. I enjoyed this comic so much, and I can’t wait to see more. Also, the guy in the crowd with the mustache and gray hat looks like Freddie Mercury! =)

  120. IchigoBunny Says:

I really really REALLY loved this story!! I cant wait to see more. fyi tomorrow is payday and 12.99 is comin right out of it for this book because i love it so much. i cant wait to add it to my manga collection.

  121. DiedreOconnor Says:

I have reserved my comments for the end (right when the fray is the worst!) I have throughly enjoied the comic, it was worth every bit of the wait! It’s definately a bittersweet moment tho, and I will be looking forward to the movie version (which I think it will tranfer to the golden screen quite nicely). Congratulations!

  122. Anon Says:

Wow, what a great run this comic’s had. I’m sure it’ll make a great movie. Can’t wait to see more. Top notch work.

  123. Bryn Says:

I’m pretty sure I recognize everyone in the crowd, nice touch!

First comment, last page. How sad. I loved it, and can’t wait for the continuations!

    Keep up the awesome-ness!

  124. kris Says:

Great story :) I enjoyed it a lot.

  125. Ari Says:

Is she pregnant in that first panel?

  126. Ari Says:

Nevermind. I missed the last page.

  127. Foxxetta Says:

I have followed this comic, beginning to end, for aaaaaaaaaaaaages now! It was very near the start when I first encountered it, and I have been avidly checking up on it every day since then!!
I can’t believe it’s finished – the day they have it in the cinemas, I’m first in line! Absolutley fantastic stuff from Bobby and Eisu – I don’t know how you managed it, but you did and it was bloody brilliant!

Fave Character had to be Parker of course, can’t wait to see more of her! I love that all the little characters are in the last panel, like the coach driver and vicar! Attention to detail was part of what made Marry Me my favourite webcomic…can’t wait for the novel and the movie to make across the pond to the UK. I’ll be on the edge of my seat until then!

    Thanks for the laughs,
    Foxxetta
    xx

  128. teardropcatcher Says:

Hahaha, fitting end! And on my birthday, too ^__^
Loved the comic, have been reading it for quite a while… Many thanks to Eisu and Bobby for making this and well… can’t wait for the movie!!

  129. rio_uk Says:

    Loving the sign, Gary!

  130. Izzy Says:

    baaaaaaaaawww D;

    sooo cuuuute.
This movie will be soooo badass.
I love how Parker gets a happy ending too! <333

  131. Dra Says:

    Bloody wonderful stuff man.

    Congratulations on meeting the deadline.

  132. Pamela Says:

I LOVE IT!!! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!!!!

Of course, with Parker front and center. ^^ :D

And, even better, there’s Denny, looking all ‘Men In Black’. :D :D :D

(That IS Denny, right? If it’s not, wouldn’t I feel like an idiot?? LOL)

Is that the priest that married them?? Dude….that’s awesome ^^

And the woman whose baby Guy delivered.

    So yea, last panel FTW….DEFINITELY.

  133. Rollo Says:

Whew! What a yourney you took us on! I have said it before, and still am of this opinion: Bobby and Eisu, you are the new dream team in comic world, the true heirs of Goscinny and Uderzo! Excellent storytelling, combined with very personal grafic style, mixing up the best of manga and line claire. Well, partly this story was too much telenovela for my taste (expecially towards the end), but taste you cannot discuss. And yet I had to come back regularly to follow the story! There is a lot of humour of all sorts in it, expecially the beginning was a funny helter skelter. I am looking very forward to your next projects!

  134. Jon Pander Says:

    From Yesterday:

Jenn Says: “I agree with everyone who says Janny’s a Milf..”
    Rowr.

“Staisa’s pretty hot preggo too, but super cute.”
    Rowr? I think.

“Baby Parker is adorable.. wonder if HE is gonna grow up to be as crazy as auntie Parker.”
Thank god you didnt say Baby Parker is hot…. I don’t have a rowr for that.

    “Buffalo, NY.”
    Double Rowr. Not far.

    “Yeah, go with ORGY,”
    ROWR!

“the fiance can join too. He’s sexy.”
No rowr. It’s well known that in the Pander dictionary, orgies mean multiple women, 1 man. Let me make a wikipedia edit and I’ll prove it.

“OH! OH! And.. When do Alicia, Invulove and I all get to see pictures of YOU? Hm, sir?”
When I’m sure your boyfriend won’t use the picture to hunt me down for hitting on your fine hottie self.

“I also agree with the other commenters, Pander, Alicia, Invulove and I should all have our own plot line. XD”
    Orgy Me.

Ace: “Whoa, baby parker teleported from in front of the door to the corner of the room!”
Bobby’s trying to get some of the sci-fi audience due to the popularity of the movie Jumper. Shh.

Alicia:”@ Jon Pander– lol, just, lol And actually, my boyfriend has pretty much up’d his status now to fiance…any plans on how to deal with that…? XD”
I’m not going to tell him when we meet for our rendevous.

“@Jenn, I agree, Jon, why are we not seeing pics of you?! Is it because, despite all your sarcastic charm, you’re actually really ugly? What are you hiding from us?!”
Hiding from you? Nothing at all. Let me know if your fiances are members of the NRA first though. I’m smexy.

  135. Jon Pander Says:

Rosebud Says: “Awwwwww. Parker has someone now. Maybe they’ll visit California in a sequel? *grin*”

Jenn Says: “Parker’s gf is hot..”

Girl Says: “Awww…Parker’s got a girlfriend! And she has cleavage! Score!!”
Group Rowr to all three of you.

Amber Says: “Heee. Happy ending! I vote more lesbians. With Parker!”
You are the smartest person I’ve ever met because of that comment.
Rowr, and then some. Your comment deserves its own rowr.

Joanna Says: “I think Parker is still wearing the pants…”
    She….likes….pants.

Bobby Crosby Says: “Parker’s new girlfriend (never seen her before, new character, no name)”
Can I name her? I’d like to name her Sexy McHottieboobs. Or Tiffany. Sexy McHottieboobs, or Tiffany…..

    Tiffany McHottieboobs.

    “the guy from Page 22″
To be honest after seeing Parker’s new girlfriend, I don’t notice anyone else in the audience. Eisu is a gifted artist at drawing hotties. I bow to him.

“PRE-ORDER THE GRAPHIC NOVEL RIGHT NOW!”
I wasn’t going to, but you just told me to so now I will.
(ha – as if I wouldn’t buy this)

  136. zeroharmada Says:

I have been a bad bad fan of both this and last blood and haven’t been commenting much :-( Did just go and preorder a hardcover though. Really looking forward to this and last blood on video.

  137. Narfen Says:

A whole new level of love and hate has been born today.

I Love you for making this.
I Hate you for finishing it.

Been a pleasure following through Marry Me, and its definitely a comic I will re-read again in time to come.

I wont write a whole lot of words, cause they really cant compare to much of what have already been written, but just have to say…

I will see you people on your next project(s), and the current once under work, and when time allows it, I will make it to one of your con’s.

    Jannik, DK

  138. Queenie Says:

I like how Guy’s sign has the little dashes to emphasize the “ME”. Because, well, she did marry him ;)

  139. Sierra Monroe Says:

Too bad brittany spear’s couldn’t end so gracefully such as Stasia’s. :B
    Awh well. Nice ending.

  140. Jandê Says:

Awesome job. Can’t wait for the movie.

  141. Tallinu Says:

That was an awesome ‘ending’ to a really great story!! I am seriously impressed. I’m really looking forward to the next stories.

  142. Seriniyity Says:

I re-read the whole thing from start to finish like you suggested, and yeah, it is better than waiting days between pages. :D

You guys seriously ROCK. ^_^ I can’t wait for the movie. (I’d get the book but I’m so horribly poor! *cry*) <3 You guys!

  143. invulove Says:

Alicia says “@ invulove: Luv the piccy…I’d give you guys pics of me…but like I said,,,I hATE them…besides, they’re all old…”
    aww thanks ^^ i bet you’re such a cutie!! =]

  144. LittleOneInch Says:

I have never posted a comment until today. I was recommended this comic after a friend told me about it and this was after I’ve been reading Eisu’s comics regularly for a few months. This is going to be a little embarassing but when I saw that last panel I kinda cried a little. It was so sweet and moving that it just makes you sad and happy at the same time! I probably sound a little off but hey it’s how I felt reading this comic. It was just so touching to me.

  145. Bobo & SgtPork Says:

    Bobby Crosby Says:

    June 26th, 2008 at 12:52 am
“Parker’s girl is NOT HARMONY or ANYONE ELSE. Totally new person.”

And here I thought it was Janny . . .

  146. KayRis Says:

Hey Bobby, MARRY ME!! Hehe, kidding, but you really have done an incredible job! This was such an amazing, sweet story and I can’t wait for more! Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to more on your other comics too!

And Eisu, this comic wouldn’t be nearly as awesome without your amazing skill. A great storyline can do a lot, but without good art to back it up it wouldn’t get very far, so major kudos to you too!! <3 <3 <3

  147. Kristen Says:

I really hope my parents will let me use some of my money to get the hardcover version. They think I’m silly at the moment for wanting it all. :P

  148. Rhythymic Hero Says:

extremely well presented , Bobby and Eisu. You should both be incredibly proud. Eisu should win an award for the crazy amounts of work done he’s done lately, and it looks phenomenal.

Now that the book is said and done, you should make shirts.

I’d step over people to get to a T-shirt of Guy Falcon Punching Christian.

  149. Tangentdi Says:

wow, I’m suprised, no one has been a douch to bobby yet. Hurray!!!!! Great ending by the way.

  150. Rosebud Says:

Bobby writes: PRE-ORDER THE GRAPHIC NOVEL RIGHT NOW!

Okay… done. Alas, I won’t be at Comic Con, but my sister-in-law (who lives in San Diego) will get a copy. I know she’ll love it. As will several other family and friends. Plus a few extra since it’s That Good(TM). You make gift giving so simple! =) (And having people be in the know about the blockbuster film of 2009 or 2010 will add that extra bit of fun. :)

And I’ll be looking forward to the future episodes in this world. Thanks again.

Random thought: I don’t know how it would affect sales, but I’d be more than happy to pay an extra dollar a copy and have that go to breast cancer research. Or you could just charge $433, $533, and $933 for the three options and have 97% of the proceeds go to charity. *grin* (That probably would affect sales, though.)

  151. BlueRoseSama Says:

Beautiful Job. Well done, Bobby and Eisu. Wonderfully well written, exquisitely well drawn.

I loved reading every minute of it. And I look forward to more.

Many good wishes for getting this turned into a movie. I would love to see a live version of this.

  152. 13ean Says:

Amazing job guys! Just got around to finishing it off now and I have to say…

Well done. When it hits theaters, I’ll be the first in line.

  153. alpendog Says:
  154. alpendog Says:

I am standing and applauding…..but as illustrated in my previous post I am on the internet and you can’t see me.

  155. Bobby Crosby Says:

    Ha, thanks, buddy (alpendog).

  156. Graymalkin Says:

    Nicely done, Bobby and Eisu.

    Yeah, that’s all I’ve got.

    Preordered the hardcover.

  157. Lisa Says:

This is going to be an amazing movie. I’ve never had a heartwarming feeling from a webcomic before. It hit me right when the screen pulled back to see all of Stasia. Bobby, you are a genius. And Eisu, thanks for doing such a great job with the work! I really like your style.

  158. Megamickel Says:

When I quit being a poor college kid (IE my dad pays me back that $100…) I’ll order the book. Regular unsigned edition, of course. What am I, made of money?
    Though hardcover is NIIICE………
    Hrrm….

  159. Coughman Says:

its also worth noting that the dude who brought the other “Marry me” poster in page 22 is standing right behind Guy

  160. Skye Says:

    YAY!! Parker found a girl!!!

  161. Orinocou Says:

    Hey guys,
I left a comment only once before, but now that it’s over, I’ll have to say it again: what a great comic! It really enjoyed the ending. It’s not what I had expected, but give you that “awww” reaction. very nice. :)

  162. JJ B Says:

Sorry, I know that her last tour was done, and certainly years go by between tours, but I guess I’m just used to musicians playing one-offs or random gigs in between anyway. :-) I’m following a few bands/pop artists right now and they tend to play some sort of show at least once every couple months, even when they’re off-tour and recording (industry events, charity, media appearances). So I was so used to that I assumed Stasia must have done several shows before this. It didn’t even occur to me that it was possibly her first re-appearance till the last panel when I was trying to figure out the posters. Of course if it is, no prob.

  163. ModdyPride Says:

Took it forever to load, but, Awwww! I love it! But, aw man, it’s over… It was a wild ride!

  164. Jenn Says:

@ Alicia and Invulove — You guys pix are too cute! :D *dubs thee: buddies*

@ Pander.. The MR. is not a NRA member, lol.. pix, please?

    XD

You can even aim or email me a link if you want..

    kwbluedevilf324@aim.com OR just aim Kwbluedevilf324

    kthxbye

  165. Bobby Crosby Says:

    “industry events, charity, media appearances”

Those don’t have huge crowds that can properly have the awesome impact of a trillion MARRY ME signs. And those don’t feel like actual shows, concerts. Very different situation. When you sell 20,000 tickets, that’s when you think about “I wish I could just walk on stage with a microphone and sing” as opposed to having to dance and be flying through the air and everything, and that’s when Janny might say that it’ll be nice to not have any MARRY ME signs for once at a concert. Not the same thing when it’s a media appearance or something smaller like that. Also, this concert is for charity, as she said. Well, all of her performances are basically, as we know. Anyway, this is also in Tulsa, same place as the opening concert, so that added an extra specialness to it.

  166. leslie Says:

awww, thats such a cute ending, that would be such an adorable movie

  167. KrisKrash Says:

*squeels and jumps in air like a sugar-high teenager* I loved it guys!! That was marvelous and I can’t wait for the extra bits and pieces you’ll be posting. I’ll be honest, I skipped alot of the comments since it was so long, so if I’m repeating someone just ignore me. But, the ending seemed a little rushed. I guess I just expected for the Guy on tv to be some crazy hoax or something. So jumping from a hospital in Africa to a charity concert with Stasia kinda threw me. I love how Janny looks now though (glad you guys caught that one) : ) Anyway, all-in-all marvelous goodness. I know I’ll be buying tickets for the midnight showing of this movie! (In Tulsa no less)

  168. Jester Says:

Wow this was a great comic. Great job guys, you did amazing. I loved it from beginning to end. Thanks for the good times, can’t wait to see more!

  169. Sarah Says:

Haha awwww, this is an amazing ending.
    (lol @ Guy)
I really hope I can get a print copy…this is probably one of my favorite stories ever.

  170. invulove Says:

wooah, Jenn got to see Alicia’s pic?
    me wanna see @_@
and Jenn, if you get Pander’s pic..
    SHAAARE =P

  171. Giselle Says:

Just paid for my preorder. Looking forward to having a hard copy *heart*

  172. Galamere Says:

Grats to all on the comic, I tuned in back at about page 6 or so and it became a daily thing for me.

Get up, nab a bite to eat, check mail, check comic.

I love the ending, truly a great bit of fun and Stas looks good as a mom to be. Didn’t have a chance to post the other day, but I have to say that I didn’t recognize the sis right off, and now I’ve got a question mark as to who Parker’s friend is :(

Could she have something to do with the next installment of the books?

  173. Galamere Says:

Oh, and signed book bought ^_^ though there was a mixup on my part, meant to get the hardcover :( ah well, could make this a gift to someone I suppose.

  174. Bobby Crosby Says:

Yeah, just get a bunch of ‘em!

  175. Sampi Says:

Thank you, Bobby and Eisu, for a great comic. It’s been good to read, and I’ll keep checking this site for those pre/sequel minicomics.

    Great work!

  176. Jae Says:

    Yeah! I bought the signed book! Awww, I wish the special offer could pertain to me, but I can’t afford to go to the con -.-;

  177. OnOffOff Says:

I haven’t posted anything here in a while. Shame on me. Congratulations on a job well done. I can’t wait to see the movie. The graphic novel made me smile more than once, so thank you for the good times.
    -Jonathan

  178. Bobby Crosby Says:

    Jae: You’re special anyway!

  179. Jenn Says:

All up to Pander to show us his pic… C’mon pander..

  180. Sky Says:

Another amazing graphic novel. Well done, Bobby, Eisu. :)

  181. Laura Says:

All over! Wow. Great ending! Great everything.I think I’m actually gonna buy a book xD you guys are great.

  182. Galamere Says:

heh, I would love to, but this is quite literally the last of my coin for now (if I can get this order fixed with Power so I can get a hardcover…teaches me to shop late at night)

Dont get payed till the 7th, so I’ll be waking to work thanks to this book.

    CURSE YOU!!!!

    Although my gut thanks you….

  183. Galamere Says:

By the Goddesses, I just got done writing them an e-mail about the mixup and they have already fixed my order. I don’t know how you found these guys, but their keepers ^_^

  184. Jandalman Says:

This whole comic is pure AWESOMENESS from beginning to end. Thanks Bobby and Eisu! You folks are legend!

  185. Elise Says:

Awe. It’s so perfect it made me cry.

I’m sticking around. I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with next!

  186. adiopersocom Says:

I didn’t expect the ending, surprisingly.

Bought the graphic novel though. Can’t wait to get it by mail.

Exceedingly awesome job, Bobby and Eisu. (b ‘ ‘)b

  187. Hyoban Says:

Bobby. Eisu. You guys are awesome. This has got to be one of the greatest webcomics I’ve ever read. If I can scrounge up some money, I’ll be getting a hardcover.

  188. Elisa Says:

Aw, if you look closely at Guy’s left hand (On our right), you can kinda tell he’s wearing a wedding ring! :3

(At least thats what it looks like to me!)

  189. Eisu Says:

“Aw, if you look closely at Guy’s left hand (On our right), you can kinda tell he’s wearing a wedding ring! :3″

    Good eye

  190. Flinter555 Says:

Thank you so much I love this Graphic Novel <3 ive read it a few times now ^-^ extremely good

  191. Dani Says:

Hahahaha!! What I love best about these last few scenes is that the first few scenes were totally foreshadowing this.

S: “This is the last time I’ll have to wear this.”
    J: “Until the next tour.”
S: “Nah, I think I’ll just wear your maternity clothes for that one.”

    BRILLIANT.

  192. John B Says:

It’s nice to see that Parker eventually got out of Stasia’s pants.

A happy ending all around. Well done!

  193. Rich Says:

Just wanted to say Thank you for such a great comic. I look forward to the movie and the upcoming stuff. You guys did a wonderful job.

  194. mel Says:

Great ending! Thanks for the story. keep updating I can’t wait to read more!

  195. Murrie Says:

Now it looks weird to see Parker in her own pants instead of Stasia’s. :D

  196. kyevan Says:

Parker’s girlfriend looks like you took Janny, Harmony of Sore Thumbs, Jess of No Pink Ponies, maybe a dash of Guy for luck, and stuck them in a blender.

I mean that in the best possible way.

  197. beth Says:

    how cute. love it.

  198. Alicia Says:

@ the so dubbed “Orgy Me” sub-plot -_-

Jenn got to see my picture ’cause we friended each other on myspace. So…invulove, Jon Pander…friend me on myspace or facebook :P

But honestly, I abhor pictures of myself.

And Pander, my bf isn’t in the NRA…so…I think you owe it to the world to show us your piccy…ESPECIALLY if you really are that smexy. C’mon…

Oh, yeah, and this is up for anyone: AIM me: music27note, just let me know where I know you from!! ‘Cause we have to prepare for when this movie premieres so that we can all show up holding “marry me” signs. ^_^

  199. Slayah Says:

Amazing comic. I’m pretty sure everything has already been said(even that probably) But i just want to add my congrats. Why did the main story have to end though? I’ll miss it. But Parker’s girlfriend is cute!

  200. Gabriela Says:

i love that end its so YEY!
Everyone was there, what a wondergfull surprise.
Im so happy the story continuous. BRAVO!
I want to to congrat you for your excelent work *and u also got money*
That’s so great, isnt it :)
Its good that parker got fan-girlfriend, they will be so happy.

  201. invulove Says:

    ooh really?
well i’m trying to befriend you Alicia, but.. i don’t know your last name or email =P
my myspace is in my name, so friend me? please? =P
Jenn, for some reason i keep getting an error when i try to friend you @_@
Just beforewarned.. i”m slightly obsessed with the Jonas brothers.. no I don’t know how it happened, it just did.. its been about 2 years now and i doubt it’ll go away.. it just keeps getting stronger =P I mostly listen to rock, so it was slightly strange.. <.<
but yeah, friend me, jenn and alicia =]

  202. Katie Says:

    /cheer ^^

  203. Jenn Says:

    =( Wth..

I will indeed friend you then, Invulove.. Your obsession is OK.

Im obsessed with 80’s music, Pandas, and Purple. <3333

so.. my page is.. very.. purple.. as you can probably see

  204. Jenn Says:

SO… Im super bored at work and made my own cast list for the Marry Me Movie..

    Comments? Questions? Concerns?

Guy – Michael Shanks ((look at his pix from stargate sg-1 <3 I wanna marry “Daniel”))

    Stasia- Lauren Woodland (( http://www.jamd.com/image/g/827687 ))

    Janny- Rachel Bilson (( http://www.flickscribe.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/rachel-bilson-02.jpg ))

Parker – Natalie Portman would be fun.. but probably hard to get… :/

Denny – Terry Crews .. definately Terry Crews…

Mr. Tyler – Sean Connery.. Most definately.

    – har har..

  205. Romashk Says:

It’s a great comic.I enjoyed it and hope to see more.

ps. Interesting hug, with Parker and Janny, there … hmm…

  206. Cap'n Funk Says:

    @ Bobby;
Awesome writing. Top-notch, really. Have loved it since I started reading WAAAAAAY back when page #1 came up.

Overall, a great ride, and great story to match.

    @ Eisu;
Amazing arts, love your illustrating style, it applies so well to this whole scenario!

Keep up the brilliant work, the both of you!

  207. Anko Says:

“ps. Interesting hug, with Parker and Janny, there … hmm…”

Wow, it always seemed obvious to me that that isn’t Janny. Just look at Janny on page 90! This girl looks nothing like her. Her hair is a different color and her clothes are totally different.

  208. Alicia Says:

@invulove…I can’t add you! It says I need ur last name or e-mail…oh curses!

Holy Pink tho! tehehe, and that’s fine. Yea obsessions!

But um…anyways…just send me a friend’s request again, plug in the e-mail “nostariel@sbcglobal.net”

  209. Alicia Says:

@invulove: It won’t let me friend you! TToTT

Re-send me a request and put in “nostariel@sbcglobal.net” where it says e-mail. That should work >o>

And don’t worry about obsessions. Obsessions rock.

  210. Alicia Says:

PS–Like Pander’s obsession with cute bisexual girls.

  211. Alicia Says:

ZOMG! Parker’s hot gf should be named Pander…Parker and Pander…

  212. LordShadow Says:

When I started reading this comic, I was bored and thought I wouldn’t like it. 91 pages later and I cannot wait for the movie. Thanks for the really good read.

  213. Eniac Says:

A-m-m-m-m-MAZING. It started great and finished awesome! 10/10 ^^

  214. invulove Says:

    to alicia
*laughs so hard her kidneys hurt* oh god, pander and parker.. that would be fucking amazing XD
yeah, i friended you on myspace.. i have no idea how to get rid of that “email or last name” thing on there XD Jenn had some problems with it too.. how DO you get rid of it? i don’t even remember putting it on there lol

  215. Kip Says:

    Awesome ending!

And I like how Stasia’s outfit is Janny’s pregancy outfit from the beginning.

And man did Janny loose that baby weight!

  216. Jenn Says:

I changed my mind.. I think Ashley Johnson should portray Stasia.

    http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/1395/5264984li3.jpg

    Look!

    Yes? No?

  217. redkirk Says:

Wow! All this praise for “Marry Me Move” and the great work by Bobby & Remy. Guess what? It’s well deserved! I’ve read a LOT of internet comics over the years –and this one rocks! This is one of the few comics that gets you involved and caring about the characters.

Right now I’m waiting for Wowio to come back online (mid-July) so I can download the latest installment.

I’m REALLY looking forward for more stories from you “guys.” Keep up the quality work.

  218. Ruthie Says:

    =D
    D=
    Oh noes… it’s over! T-T
I’m gonna have to earn some pocket money nao… Need to buy it… *rocks backwards and forwards*

  219. Micah Says:

Well, Bobby, Eisu, I know it’s been said a million times already, but great job. This is not only one of the best online comics I’ve read recently, but quite frankly it’s one of the most entertaining graphic novels I’ve read in a very long time. Thank you both for all your hard work, and for the entertainment you’ve provided.

Mr. Pander, I hope you hang around the comment section for a while, I love not only your commentary but the ongoing orgy conversation as well.

  220. batgirl84 Says:

    BWHAHAHAHA! I love it!

  221. Aelynia Says:

    Parker got a gf, yay!

I just want to add to the list of people saying how much <3 this comic is. Seriously! And I’m glad there’s gonna be more. (insert fangirl squee here). !!!.

    <3

  222. Eisu Says:

“ps. Interesting hug, with Parker and Janny, there … hmm…”

I know Anko already said it, but I feel the need to say it as well…

GORRAM IT, it’s NOT Janny!!! The hair is different. slightly similar hair colour, but the style is different and there’s even different eyes, Janny has sharper eyes, like Stasia!

I mean, I know people have these Janny X Parker fantasies, but dang, this is ridiculous… I knew I should’ve made that girl a red-head…

  223. Daniel Says:

Great ending, really liked the whole story. Sorry if this has already been asked. Eisu, since Marry Me doesn’t have a deadline anymore will you be resuming work on No Pink Ponies soon?

  224. holly Says:

Hey, she did her last concert in her sisters maternity clothes, just like she said she would!

  225. Rez Says:

That was awesome. I lol’d at the signs, and at the person Parker has her arm around; she looks like Harmony from Sore Thumbs! Oweing up to them after the large (and still somewhat going) comic week/strips staring Parker?
    Anyway… Can’t wait! =3

  226. Sam Says:

I loved this story. It was a good storyline, well written and I love your characters! Congrats on finishing it! =)

  227. Dandelion Says:

Suck a fun series! A pleasure reading it and such a nice happy ending! Not cheesy and not sad just right!!!!!

  228. Stig Hemmer Says:

Yay! Parker has found someone! Yay! There will be a MM number 2! Yay! Yay! Yay!

  229. Dae Says:

I think my brain just exploded with joy.

  230. Rhythymic Hero Says:

…Am I the only one to expect Stasia to open her concert by singing “First Boyfriends Suck” ?

You still did an amazing job. Both of you.

  231. bonz Says:

Aww … I love this comic and I’m gonna miss it.
congrats to both of you for pulling off a totally kickass comic by the way :)
I hope to get a copy soon
    B

  232. Alexander Williamson Says:

Well done whata fantastic read. I think I caught this comic right at the start and it’s been great to watch it grow in such a fascinating way. Well done to both of you for your hard work. Just look at the hits you’re getting on this site to prove it’s popularity!

Thanks for a greatly entertaining tale!
    Alex

  233. Calia Says:

    Rhythymic Hero-
I think she should start it off by doing an updated version: “First Boyfriends Suck (But My Husband is Scarily Perfect)” :D

  234. Saphiria Says:

Yay! *appluads madly* :) I luv this story!

  235. Kelsey Says:

I read silently along the entire way and I’d just like to say I thought this was a brilliant, well-done comic. Great job! I’m sad it’s over– I’ll miss checking in to see what happens next!

  236. dreampurple Says:

Parker landed a chick? Great, I was hoping for that to happen. Pleeeeeeeeeease make lots of comics about those two. Parker’s cool.

  237. Mel Says:

So does this mean you’ll be working on No Pink Ponies now? I miss it!

You are such a great artist! *clap*

  238. Chris Says:

Waht a great comic this has been, a great story, wonderful art, and it wasn’t too short. I hope if there are sequels they are done exactly the same. Cheers!

  239. abe Says:

    cute

  240. kris Says:

I seriously think this could be one of my favorite movies… I have come back to re-read the begin/end 3 or 4 times already and probably will continue to do so. It is just too cool not to.

  241. Valerie Says:

    OMIGOSH EISU AND BOBBY
(Hey, you guys remember me? Long time no see. I still ♥ Parker.)

I love it!! X3 The comic started perfectly, was carried perfectly, and ended perfectly. Bobby, great writing, and I’m SO glad that Eisu drew the art. Eisu, seriously babe, you are like, the drawing champion of everything. <3

And Parker got a girlfriend! I’m so happy!! ♥ I was gonna be sad if Parker didn’t get a happy ending. But Parker’s girlchick has no name. ._. Can we name her, even though she’ll probably never appear anywhere ever again? (Can we name her Valerie? XD)

I’m totally asking someone to grab the book for me. ;D

  242. Nemu Says:

I am curious about something… on my visa application form for Tanzania, there’s the country’s emblem on there and it says Uhuru Na Umoja…

I remember Umoja being the village they visited in this story – I suppose it’s actually a village, but why is it in Tanzania’s crest? :) Does anyone know?

  243. VisionAri Says:

“Uhuru Na Umoja” is Swahili for “Freedom and Unity”.

  244. Prismaya Says:

    THIS. WAS. BRILLIANT.

Can’t wait to get a printed copy!

  245. norman728 Says:

waiting patiently till I can Pre-order the complete GN. I am waiting to see what the movie actually will be.

But please don’t make the two mistakes adaptations make.

ONE……. Picking actors because they look like the characters( works only Part of the time) or changing the character to match the actor. (also works part of the time.)

TWO……deviating too far from the original story( Marry Me Has a simple Story so it shouldn’t fall to this rule.)

But YOU ARE THE BOSS, But I have all due confidence in you.

  246. Megan Stewart Says:

    IT’S….. OVER….. :sobb:

    I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!

    :sobb:

  247. leduck Says:

Bobby and Eisu– thanks so much for your storytelling and wonderful art! I really enjoyed this (ordered the hardcover) and look forward to the spinoff stories.

    This has been a pleasure.

  248. Freiherr von Waldhaus Says:

*applauds* Lovely story. Wonderfull. My gratitude for bringing this in the interwebz.

  249. burcu Says:

where, how can i buy the limited edition except from ordering…?

  250. Bobby Crosby Says:

San Diego Comic-Con (Booth #1328), some other conventions possibly, and in some comic book shops — a decent amount were ordered through Diamond (distributor).

EDIT: NO, FORGET THAT! Didn’t see that you asked specifically about the limited edition. That won’t be in any stores, and it probably won’t be at San Diego. It MIGHT be at some other conventions later in the year or next year, but it also might sell out in under a month. Over 100 ordered already!

  251. handgunman Says:

    wahh!!!
    (cries his eyes out)

    Its over

but now we get more stories

and maybe no pink ponies will update again

    Please!!!???

  252. chumash99 Says:

Sooo…when’s the next page of “Last Blood” coming out? :)

  253. Bobby Crosby Says:

    chumash: Haven’t written it yet.

And hey, just noticed that we went over 20,000 comments a few comments ago!

    http://www.marrymemovie.com/main/2008/06/26/page-91-the-end/#comment-20000

  254. norman728 Says:

    I AM 20000

  255. Valerie Says:

    Sweet, go Norman. ;D

  256. Marshall Says:

All I have to say is thanks Bobby and Eisu its been a wonderful ride. :D

  257. Valerie Says:

I still say Parker’s girlfriend needs a name. If for no other reason, then for the fans, so we can write fanfics and do fanart and etc. without having to call her “Parker’s girlfriend.” …Can we pleeeease call her Valerie? XD *Loser*

  258. Lex Says:

Omg, I loved every moment of this webcomic. Thx for the great comic! XP

  259. Norman728 Says:

Again I enjoyed the ride more than I thought. Still waiting for Payday to Pre-order the GN.

AS for Parker’s Girl Friend… why not Stacie since she couldn’t have Stsia she settle for the next best thing.

  260. Anko Says:

“Can we pleeeease call her Valerie?”

But there was already a Valerie in Last Blood, and that one was evil.

  261. Syrth Says:

I think she looks more like a Sophie to me

  262. Josh Says:

    I think she’s more of a Riki

  263. Valerie Says:

    *Gasp*
    Butbutbut
Valeries are usually awesome. The one from Last Blood was just a rare exception, that’s all. >_>
(And honestly, I think she looks like a Jennifer. ._. But would that be confusing, because of Janny?)

  264. Skye Says:

Hey, when are you going to update No Pink Ponies? Not trying to nag but I love that comic!

  265. Kyrin Says:

Gah! I’m having serious withdrawals. I don’t want it to be over! Wah!

I keep coming back hoping for an update, knowing there won’t be. I’m kinda disappointed at the sudden ending, he asked her to marry him, we didn’t get to see Dad’s reaction to that. Then *poof* Guy has a show, wha? Then Stasia is preggers and going on stage for a song, nice circle on the last bit, but the two panels leading up to it were just a bit to abrupt to fold into the storyline smoothly. The feeling of closure is missing, no closure here…more like hitting a brick wall. Like a parent leading a child through a bedtime story, building it up, then in the middle of action where the prince is riding to the rescue, closing the book and then saying, “And they lived happily ever after. The End! Okay, time to go to sleep now.” Wha?

I love the story, don’t get me wrong, but having to rush those last few panels just made the end rather blah. I am hoping your follow up panels fill in some of the blanks.

    Kyrin

  266. Bobby Crosby Says:

    I can’t think of a single blank.

Also, I strongly suggest reading this column –

    http://www.wordplayer.com/columns/wp40.Off-Screen.Movie.html

    Which includes this passage –

    ————–
In TENDER MERCIES, which has at its heart the story of a relationship between a man and a woman, at one point you realize that the characters have gotten married. The wedding is actually left off-screen. Lesser films would have spent a lot of time staging it, but it carried more power, in this case, to treat is as a background event.
    —————

That column sums up my feelings on the “rushed” ending.

  267. Masasmune Says:

Thoroughly enjoyable. I hope there is a movie version, it would make a great date movie.

Anyway, just a question. We heard Guy tell us that he became a guidence counciler because he had a bad one previously. Why did he choose to become a talk show host instead?

I tried looking back on the story to see what I missed, but I’m not able to piece together what his motivation would be, so I’m left with a nagging feeling that Guy getting a talk show doesn’t fit the character.

I’m interested to hear your thoughts on this.

  268. Bobby Crosby Says:

I’ve commented on this at least 10 times so far — very simple to search for my name and read my comments if you’re interested to hear my thoughts. To repeat, he obviously didn’t quit his job. He’s doing both, which is why it’s being filmed at the high school he works at.

  269. Shawn Self Says:

I just read page 1 to the finish. It was uplifting, inspirational and down right awesome. I am original from Texas, but spent my senior year of HS just outside of Tulsa, in the town of Inola. This brought back a lot of great memories and made me smile in and out often. Thank you for the honor of reading it, and the artwork was perfect.

  270. Bobby Crosby Says:

    Thanks, we appreciate that.

  271. Mattz Says:

I am somehow going to get money to buy this.

Good luck with the Last Blood & Marry Movies

if/when they do make it – I’ll go see them for sure, and recommend it to all my friends.

Will the lines in the movies be the same as some of the lines from the comic? If so, you’ll probably have a bunch of fans shouting lines x)

(I’m not sure if you’ve addressed that before but searching your name on other recent comment pages doesn’t seem to turn that up)

  272. Miss Temptation Says:

    *worships*

  273. Luciérnago Says:

    Best End Ever…

  274. Duckie Says:

That has got to be the BEST ENDING EVER. <3

  275. Marius Says:

To the author, artist and fans: I solute you.

  276. Masamune Says:

Bobby: Thank you for replying. I did attempt to search, though, obviously, I failed at it. I went back after your reply and found the comments you refer to.

When I read the scene, I did not get the impression that Guy kept his job at the school. Other readers appear to share the same confusion. Because it seems so important to Guy’s characterization, it seems like clarification would benefit the story. How, well, I never claimed to be a good story teller.

But the idea of Guy doing both the talk show (where I presume from the comparison to Dr. Phil he helps people) AND maintaining the duties of a guidance councilor seems far fetched to me. Perhaps that is why the link was so difficult to make.

Another question is the helicopter. Is it common for them to send a helicopter to remote sites in Africa. Is a birth enough to cause them to commit one? Was there a helicopter pad where Parker was running to? Why would they bring her along?

  277. Kathleen Says:

    Such a sweet ending!

  278. Bobby Crosby Says:

“When I read the scene, I did not get the impression that Guy kept his job at the school. Other readers appear to share the same confusion. Because it seems so important to Guy’s characterization, it seems like clarification would benefit the story.”

Unfortunately lots of people nowadays are confused by lots of things that shouldn’t be confusing. Many of the best moments in movie history would be lost if your advice was taken and the audience was talked to like they were babies at all times to explain everything as clearly as possible.

Why would we not only show that Guy’s filming the show at a high school, but also specifically name the same high school that he said he works at earlier, unless we were trying to make the point that he’s still working at that school? Otherwise it just would have been filmed in some studio somewhere. It’s not exactly normal to film a show like that at a high school. The only logical reason for it is because it makes it possible for him to keep his old job.

“But the idea of Guy doing both the talk show (where I presume from the comparison to Dr. Phil he helps people) AND maintaining the duties of a guidance councilor seems far fetched to me.”

Makes no sense to me why it would be anywhere near far fetched. He can’t take five hours a week to talk to idiots like Christian? Have you seen “Dr. Phil”? If you think a ton of preparation is needed to host a show like that, you’re mistaken. Or at least it’s not needed for Guy. And like I said before, look at Ryan Seacrest. Look at Regis Philbin. Guy is much younger and smarter than both of them.

“Another question is the helicopter. Is it common for them to send a helicopter to remote sites in Africa. Is a birth enough to cause them to commit one?”

Nairobi is a giant city that has many large hospitals, including ones that have medical helicopters. A birth in the middle of nowhere from the sister of someone who probably gave that hospital millions of dollars is more than enough reason to send one out. Stasia spends a lot of time in Nairobi, as the comic stated clearly, and she throws her money around to a million places, as the comic stated clearly, and anyway, she’s treated like a queen in Kenya. She’s not only given the country tens of millions of dollars, but she’s created hundreds of jobs and been great for tourism.

“Was there a helicopter pad where Parker was running to?”

There was a phone where Parker was running to. Read the comic.

“Why would they bring her along?”

Uh, so she can show them the way. It’s not like she’s saying “They’re at the corner of 5th and Elm.” This is in the middle of nowhere and this other women’s village doesn’t even have a name yet — it’s new, as was said. They know where Umoja is, though, because it’s well known — so they picked her up there (that’s where the phone was — again, read the comic).

  279. Masamune Says:

Honestly, when I read through, I thought that the show was being filmed in the school gym as a tribute to where Guy was from. I figured that it was either a special location for the first week, or that the show was themed in such a way because he was known as a guidance councilor.

As you say, you intended for the audience to understand that guy had two jobs from the location of the filming. I didn’t get that after reading the comic. Just unsolicited feedback (and probably uncalled for at that).

As to the amount of time a television show takes, having worked in the industry, shows take a lot of work. And if Guy was helping people, I would expect that he would be the type of person who would likes to understand the details of a situation. But, yeah, I agree its possible that he could work both jobs.

Fair enough that Stasia and her family are important enough to warrant a helicopter. Why would the hospital believe a phone call from a random person enough to commit a helicopter to a potentially wild goose chase?

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. Its a unique experience to get feedback directly from the author of a story (I’m the type of person who watches all the extra commentaries on all my DVDs. )

  280. Bobby Crosby Says:

“As you say, you intended for the audience to understand that guy had two jobs from the location of the filming. I didn’t get that after reading the comic.”

At least 95% of the readers did get it. If I have any control over the film, it will probably be made a little more clear.

“As to the amount of time a television show takes, having worked in the industry, shows take a lot of work.”

Most of that work comes from people who aren’t the host. We learned from Page 89 that Guy talked to Christian for the full hour. He doesn’t exactly need “help” — he’s a super rich movie star. The show’s called “Guy Talk,” and it’s mostly about just that — guys talking to each other. The first week probably only had male guests, just to not confuse people who weren’t yet familiar with Guy’s name. I’m sure after that they started not caring about the gender of the guests, though. Like “Oprah,” the show has a lot of easy fluff shows where celebrities are interviewed (Christian), and it has more serious stuff as well. Guy’s style is to talk to people, learn about their situation, and give some advice. He probably isn’t a fan of pre-interviews and finding out everything beforehand and then basically just reading off a script or repeating what he’s already done when he then talks to them on the show. He can always keep in touch with them after the show ends or have them back on if he wants. Maybe some shows end with him still saying “not yet” about having advice for them, like he told Stasia for so long. Audiences would like honesty like that, not needing to have a perfectly structured hour where everyone’s problem is solved. I could easily see the show working well with Guy literally doing nothing for it except being there for the hour when it’s flmed. It’s got a great title and everyone already fell in love with Guy from hearing all about him in the days/weeks/months after he married Stasia.

“Why would the hospital believe a phone call from a random person enough to commit a helicopter to a potentially wild goose chase?”

She’s calling from Umoja, where Stasia visits often, where Stasia gave that satellite phone to, and the women of Umoja, especially their leader, Rebecca Lolosoli (she’s in the comic), are very well respected in certain circles, especially among the more sophisticated people of Kenya, like those deciding where to send medical helicopters, and I’m sure Rebecca made the call, not Parker.

“Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.”

No problem. Thanks for not being a tiny little baby and whining about me being too mean to you in my answers.

  281. Katy Says:

Per your suggestion, Bobby, I just read through the entire story in its entirety. Great stuff – I had to have a little chuckle over how much Stasia changes from the beginning to the end – it’s really a beautiful thing. I also loved playing “spot that person” on this last page – I see GARY just behind and to the left of the bus driver, yep yep … Heheh. Love this little gem of a story, dudes. I do hope you get a film option for this one as quickly and easily as for LB. BTW, you know LB is already on IMDB (although w/out any info), I’m quite sure, right?

  282. BlackWolfe Says:

What can I say? It’s been an awesomely fun ride – even if I missed the last leg of the trip the first time around – and I’m very glad you shared the story with us.

I can’t wait for the short stories you promised!

  283. bob123 Says:

    is that it?

  284. Kristen Says:

OH THAT IS ADORABLE I LOVED IT SO MUCH.

  285. Donny Says:

The story has been a good one, right up until the ending which is a terriblle let down seeing as it feels, looks and sounds like such a rush job, a mere quick wrap up that spoils an otherwise great story.

  286. kurizu4444 Says:

    why is a random kenyan there…. O.o
and did anyone else notice the person above parkers sign has six fingers?

  287. kurizu4444 Says:

and i totally agree with you donny.
in the beginning and middle i was laughing outloud,
then that didnt happen much more,
and next think i know its over.

  288. Kela Says:

Thank you so much for such a wonderful, entertaining and heartwarming comic story!
I never realised how many concepts you pulled through from the frist few pages until I reread them at the end. Amazing work – well done and I hope everything goes well in future :)

  289. Micah Says:

“Why is a random kenyan there.” Are you fucking serious?! That’s Rebecca Lolosoli, the leader of Umoja, the women’s village. Even if you didn’t remember what she looked like it should still be fucking obvious. And unless Eisu changed the picture since your comment you must be on crack, because no one in the picture has six fingers. Lastly, again, are you fucking serious?! You just had the opportunity to read an incredible story, for FREE and all you can do is nitpick and bitch about stuff being wrong when it isn’t. Just jump off a bridge and don’t pass your stupidity to another generation.

Just unsolicited feedback (and probably uncalled for at that).”

You complain about Guy working both jobs being unclear, yet your conclusion (that it’s just some kind of themed episode even though it’s being filmed AT THE SCHOOL HE WORKS AT) takes much more speculation and assumption than just figuring he still works there. I mean the comic doesn’t explicitly state that he works both jobs, but it gives absolutely no evidence that he doesn’t work at the school anymore, so why would you jump to that conclusion. Even if it wasn’t being filmed at the school, from what we know of Guy’s character and integrity after reading the whole comic, what would make you think he would just cold heartedly drop the kids he cares for so much to be a celebrity? The simplest and most logical reaction to page 89 is, “Oh, look, Guy has a show now too!”

  290. Gaz Says:

    Great ending.
    Congrats on the success.
Hope business booms, dunno what i’m gonna read now.

Is Remy going back to work on No Pink Ponies? That was a great series too!

  291. norman728 Says:

I DID IT I preordered a copy. Yipee.. (OK I cheaped out and got the basic version.) But I pre-ordered

  292. Marmaduke Says:

I am so sad it’s over, but you did an amazing job. And I loved the, “I can finally give you some advice” bit. This is spectacular in every way, and I can’t wait to see it in theaters!

Thanks for keeping me entertained. :)

  293. Michael R. Says:

Great ending! And some people do have six fingers! And great comic! It’s so good to read something that doesn’t take years and years to get to the end of.

  294. Michael R. Says:

Some people in real life, that is. I didn’t see any in the comic, I just wanted to point out that it’s not an error as such if anyone has that.

  295. Clo Says:

This was a great story with great art. I love the stuff Eisu makes so much and this it’s so nice that the story followed a “regular update schedule”.

I’m a tad sad it’s the end but I hope we’ll get to see more stories with you two! Great team! : D

  296. Ethel Says:

Just caught up on Marry Me, and wow . . . what a great story. I love the characters you’ve crafted and the artwork. The only “complaint” I have is that the ending feels like a beginning – I want to know what comes next so badly! What does their baby look like? What do they think of parenting as two famous people? How does Guy keep Stasia’s dad from meddling?

It’s nice to hear a story about real heroes for a change. People who maybe aren’t perfect, but really try to be the best they can. I liked Last Blood too, but we didn’t really get a chance to know the hero yet (unless something’s changed since I last got caught up).

I kind of like the rushed feel at the end. It’s sort of like the giddy, head-long rush into a new life that Guy and Stasia are now experiencing. I just wish it went on longer.

  297. norman728 Says:

I truly can’t wait to see how this plays out on the screen. Just wondering , Are you going for the big screen or TV? (Hey, Look at HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, They went big on TV and Now have a big screen version coming out) again Great work. and Thanks EISU for a new NPP page.

  298. Juice Says:

    WONDERFUL!!!

I loved this comic! can’t wait for more!

  299. Storm Says:

[simply applauds and whistles at the great ending and symmetry of the comic coming full circle]
    Great job guys!

  300. Paddy Says:

Is it me, or is Rebecca Lolosoli (the Kenyan lady) maybe trying to catch Denny’s eye?

  301. Arvind Says:

This is the Greatest Online Comic Ever!!

  302. Meep Says:

Everyone is raving about what a great ending this was. I disagree, heartily. I think it was rushed, amateurish, and just plain cliche.

Eisu, You did a wonderful, WONDERFUL job. The artwork did not suffer in the least. So so glad No Pink Ponies has returned.

Bobby, you took the most predictable route possible. Creativity. Look it up. It’s a marvelous thing. Last Blood was written so much better.

  303. Arvind Says:

Well, Meep. Yeah! The ending was rushed. Also, Bobby did mention the comic would have only a specific number of pages; it had to end somehow.

True, a few days took more than 80 pages and the Happy ending taks only 3 pages! Marry Me was written to be a movie, not a comic; so such an ending does seem suitable.

This leaves a whole lotta room for fillers and shorts.

  304. Jenn Says:

    Micah.. Still Love You.

    lol

  305. Bobby Crosby Says:

“Last Blood was written so much better.”

Anyone who thinks this has no right ever criticizing any piece of writing because they have no brain in their head. “Marry Me” was written AT LEAST 8,000 times better than “Last Blood.” “Last Blood” fucking sucked.

  306. Rach Says:

First of all, kudos. It’s hard to end a story. But having the backgroun info will be very fun.

Thanks for an awesome comic & characters guys! & thanks for bringing the story full circle!

  307. Stig Hemmer Says:

I have already commented… but feel a need to comment again after sleeping on it for a while.

First I would like to thank Bobby for _not_ holding our hands and going at baby step speed. While that will help a very few readers, it tends to ruin it for everybody else.

Second, I see that many readers, myself included, loved seeing Parker with her arm around another girl. If you go and vote(do it, do it now!) you will see that on Bobbys scetch, there is no other girl. In other words, Eisu: Thank you for this extra bit of happiness in our lives!

Meep: It was a given almost from page one that this would end up in a “they lived happily ever after” ending. Yes, it is predictable, but doing anything else would have been just wrong. The joy of this story wasn’t so much the destination as in the journey. And what a journey!

  308. Bobby Crosby Says:

From the Panel 3 description in the Page 91 script: “Consider putting a nice looking young woman next to Parker, insinuating that she’s dating this girl. The girl could have a sign or not, doesn’t really matter — but we should see TONS OF SIGNS.”

  309. vlad3163 Says:

Nice finish. Was following regularly until the RSS feed cut out at page 82. Don’t know what made me stop in and check, but I’m glad I did. Look forward to seeing you at SDCC!

  310. megan Says:

I miss this story lol. I should go re-read it.

  311. Tori Says:

I would love to order the hard copy! Price is 12.99, right? I loved the entire story! As soon as it appears in theatres, I’ll go see it!

  312. Metalbumblebee Says:

Wow, your right, reading it from the begining makes it a lot more meaningful! Yay for happy endings, this was awesome!

  313. Buchanan Says:

Hehe, The Lone Sailor, here again to tell you, i loved it.
It was wonderful Mr. Crosby. An absolute blast to follow it.
Thank you for a wonderful mistake yourself. Would never have found this comic if i hadn’t been feeling bad enough that day to type “Marry me” into my URL bar.
Good luck in all things Mr. Crosby. Hope your dreams come out bigger than you ever could imagine.

  314. Torrentus Says:

    Wow…

I started reading this right from the start (around page #5, I think..) When I saw the link on NPP, and now it’s (more or less) over…

Man, what a ride, this was an awesome comic, I’ll try my best to get a copy of the novel..

  315. hard_rocker Says:

ok really stupid question some one has probably asked this i read the comments but didnt see it is there an estimated time for the side story thingy 4 marry me to start

  316. Angela aka ZIM402 Says:

best ending to a best comic EVER!

  317. Dv Says:

    loved it

  318. BinkiBonsai Says:

Wow… It was predictable and saccharine but good. A very sweet story with lovable, endearing characters and well worth owning in book form. Nice job there, people. Don’t reckon it needs a sequel though; it’s a great note to end on.

P.s: Why is Parker in SoreThumbs…?
Was her cameo set before the events of ‘Marry Me’?

  319. Kori Michele Says:

Wow! I just clicked a link to this comic on a whim (off of Sinfest) and immediately read through the whole thing this morning. This was really fun, I loved the characters and that it was short and sweet. I hope you see more work from you guys. =)

  320. Josh M Says:

That was awesome. I am very glad I found the link AFTER it was completely finished tho, cause waiting would have been hell! ^^ This was a story that could easily have been sold and not given away fro free (tho I am glad it was given away for free :) Well written and great artist choice too. Simple, funny, and good fun. I give this one a definitely read it.

  321. Stasia Says:

Bobby, I want to chat with you but it always says you’re busy. This makes me sad.

  322. Evil Says:

I loved this story. I got the link through Sore Thumbs so it’s nice knowing where Parker comes from and I get to pretend it was Guy’s car she stole.

The characters were wonderful and as an artist, I loved the artwork. Eisu’s monkeys were insanely cute. One of my friends is going to Comic Con so I’ll be sending him with money to buy me the book.

If you two decide to continue the story with little side arcs like first meetings and ‘where are they now’ stories, I had a vote for the name of Parker’s girlfriend. She looks remarkably like my friend Adrienne did when she had short hair. I won’t say that should be the name, but my vote is for something French. After all, there were a lot of French colonies in Africa.

  323. macsnafu Says:

Okay, just read the whole thing through in one sitting. It’s a little on the light side, but that’s good! I could have told you early on that the marriage wouldn’t have been legal (Oklahoma also requires a blood test), but it was fun to see the characters work their way through the problem. I’m not a big anime fan, but then, the art wasn’t *too* anime-style.

The best part about this was that it wasn’t a superhero/scifi/espionage/copy of the newspaper strips. Not that I don’t like that stuff, but it’s good to see more variety online, especially something so mainstream. I don’t know about making this into a movie, though. I’m just not sure that it would do so well. The big problem there is simply the fact that it IS too light. There’s no real obstacle that the characters have to overcome, except in the characters’ own minds. But with the online strip, books, and merchandise, you should still be able to pay the bills with this.

  324. BRAD Says:

FANTASTIC WORK! UNCOMPAREABLE DIALOGUE AND A ORIGINAL AWSOME STORY! 100 out of 100! 5/5 2 thumbs up!

  325. Emrys Says:

I sat through the comic in one afternoon. Loved the way everything just played out… and the characters were VERY believable. Great work! Kudos to the both of you!

  326. :D Says:

I just read the whole of Marry Me in one go, and I loved it :D It was a truly adorable story, with dialogue that flowed perfectly and utterly beautiful art.
    Thanks!

  327. Jacky Says:

Hey, just wanted to say I loved the comic and am impatiently awaiting the prequel as you put it. Was wondering when and where that was going to start? Thanks

  328. Martha Says:

Aww yay! Parker got herself a girlfriend (I think…? Well, that’s how I’m going to see it.)

    That’s really really sweet

  329. Prez-Liz Says:

“Aww yay! Parker got herself a girlfriend (I think…? Well, that’s how I’m going to see it.)”

Actually, Martha, the way they’re looking at each other while holding that sign up makes me wonder… ;)

  330. Katy Says:

Okay.. I forgot the black guy’s name.. But does anyone else notice how his goatee is like, off to the side of his mouth? I see how it’s supposed to be over his chin, but his mouth and rest of his face wasn’t over his chin.. So the goatee looks wrong, not under the center of the face, when the face is actually messed up… Just an observation; still a great job on the comic and most of the art. –thumbs up and I await more installments/books!

  331. Steve Says:

Great story, thanks for putting it on the web. Hope you make millions off of the book and movie rights.

I’m amazed there are some people in the comments whinging about it and making petty criticisms, when they got to read it for free and surely couldn’t do half as well themselves. Some people have no clue at all. Just ignore them.

  332. Lorne Says:

Thanks for the amazing comic. My only wish would be that the last panel was a few pixels wider, so we could see Guy’s wedding ring. =) Aside from that, perfect.

When the movie hits the theater, I’ll start a Star Wars-esque presale line. =)

  333. Mystan Says:

Loved the story =) it was a lot of fun!

  334. Krrackknut Says:

Very Romantic. This Made Me Laugh Many Times. Good Thing It Ain’t Over Yet.

  335. barto Says:

Nice work guy. i got pulled into this one by eisu’s work on nopinkponies. but your story line hooked me, Eisu’s awesome artwork and your ability to write a wicked story mix so well. can’t wait till you guys collab on something new.

  336. bookfreakluver Says:

    awesome.

    AWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOME!!!!!!

I’m so happy I didn’t discover this comic till it was completed cause otherwise I woulda died from having to wait for updates lol.

Truly one of the best I’ve ever read.

  337. Kura Says:

I just want to say that this is perhaps the best short comic I’ve read. From the start, this comic has been hilarious, entertaining, attention catching and just awesome. The art is completely amazing, and the story and dialogue is as well. Few stories get to have such a epic ending. Few endings feel truly accomplished. Amazing work, guys! Can’t wait to read more.

  338. Crazeyal Says:

    Week to ten days huh??

Ah well.. This was a fantastic effort and a good read. I’ve finished my fourth read-through and I still love the characters and the art. Give us a little more when you have the time .. please.

  339. Helios Says:

It was nice to see such a strong finish to this webcomic. When I had first read the author’s intentions for the story (to be made into a movie) I was thinking “is he serious? Much as I’d love to see it, no webcomic could ever go that far!” But now, seeing the ending, doing a re-reading, I have to admit I was wrong, this comic has the same potential that so many other comics that have come before it, and while it may still take a miracle for this to become a full-fledged movie, I see so many small miracle’s every day, why do I ever doubt. I hope your dreams are realized guys, you deserve it.

  340. Amelia Davis Says:

;_; is over but I’m still grinning ear to ear, that was fantastic and I can’t wait to see the mini comics that come out of it all. <3

  341. Johni Says:

    Most Awesome Ending Ever!!!

  342. 3686 Says:

Well done for such a fantastic comic. I look forward to seeing your work again.

Plus, I’m tempted to get the book since I enjoyed it so much and want to reward you!

  343. Kathryn Canon Says:

OMFG THAT WAS AMAZINGLY GOOD! :D DDDD

  344. a115 Says:

That was a really great comic. However it has been way over 10 days, will there be any short stories?

  345. Janelle Says:

So happy I picked up a copy of this at Comic Con. A worthwhile purchase, says I.

  346. Amanda Says:

I was wondering… are you going to do a short story about Janny’s baby? like who the father is.. etc?

  347. jon pander Says:

Amanda: I think the probability of info on janny’s baby daddy being forthcoming any time soon is the same likelihood that we’ll be seeing a 4 way orgy between janny, Parker, parker’s hot girlfriend and a pregnant stasia.

  348. Ivan Ross Says:

ah…so nice, great ending to this particular storyline, hope the next one is just as incredible ^_^

  349. JCP Says:

I wonder who the father of Janny’s son is. If Stasia and Guy have a son maybe they’ll get him circumcised.I’m circumcised myself. It’s good for health Jews and Muslims are circumcised as a religious ritual.

  350. Pixie Says:

Okay.. so I’m going to guess the “but we’ll be doing comics of short stories featuring the characters, with the first one starting within about 10 days probably! And then we hope to do at least one page per week” announcement was off by a bit. *pouts and puts Marry Me in her ‘Hiatus’ folder, along with Last Blood*

  351. Alicia Says:

@ Amanda– Bobby said earlier in the comic that we will -never- find out who the father of Parker (Jr) is because it does not matter! So basically, what Jon Pander said.

@JCP– um, dude, no offense, but I think you just turned off of WayTooMuchInformation highway and… Anyway, I personally agree with you that circumcision is not only a religious thing (for most Catholics as well) but also has health benefits (I’m studying medicine). However, I -highly- doubt that the circumcision (or lack there of) of AnaxGuy’s son (or lack there of) has much of anything to do with the comic…in other words, don’t hold your breath.

@Pixie– I know! I’ve been checking all the time only to be -denied-. *starts singing* Anticipaaaaaation~~~

@Jon Pander–nice to read your beautifully satirical and sarcastic comments again buddy ;D

  352. Alicia Says:

    I forgot to say:

Yea for Last Blood being adopted into a movie! For any who are following that comic but haven’t heard the news…one of the wonderful minds who brought you Family Guy is adapting Last Blood to film.

  353. Summer Glau Says:

As JB ( of Catharsiscomic.com) says ” Finishing a good book can be a confusing experience.” Thank you for this confusing experience. love it. I think I might even buy it!

  354. Steven Says:

So, she’s wearing that maternity outfit like she said she would at the beginning…

  355. Steven Says:

Bah! I never mentioned how much I liked it in my previous comment. I think it’s brilliant, I also liked Last Blood and +EV. In fact, I wasted my whole day today engrossed in all three. Good stuff, good stuff. I am definitely going to buy all of them when my financial situation is working better.

  356. Jenn Says:

    Yay! Pander is back.

Pander. wth happened to “Orgy Me?” .. c’mon..

Wonder if we can adopt the Janny, Stasia, Parker/Parker’s hot gf Orgy into our line.. helllllls yeah.

  357. JD Says:

    not gonna cry…
    not gonna cry…
    god i love this story
first post n its the last page haha

  358. Alicia Says:

    *chuckles at the latest comments*

  359. chumash99 Says:

So, when’s the first sequel (or spin-off or whatever) start? It’s been over a month already!

  360. Giselle Says:

Hmm… said the books would ship out at the end of July, but its almost the 2nd week of August… still waiting. *heart*

  361. Marie-Chan Says:

    I loved the whole comic, great art and nice coloring. The storyline was perfect and really, it made me go all dreamy…! It was really entertaining and I didn’t want to it stop lol ^^;

Anyway, take care, thanks for the great comic

    Marie

  362. burner181 Says:

that was a really heart gripping story but none the less i have horrible timing

  363. Steve Says:

    Giselle,
I spoke with Bobby Crosby last week about the comics. The publisher had delivered the paperback version in time for the San Diego ComicCon but the hardback versions were still out at the printers (yep, I was also getting anxious to get my copy.) I don’t have any further information at this time.
    Steve

  364. Bobby Crosby Says:

Hardcovers scheduled to arrive here Friday, all should be shipped out to you guys by Wednesday or Thursday of next week!

  365. invulove Says:

ahhh i cannot wait until i get the comic =3

  366. Jenn Says:

Thanks Bobby! Cant wait! I’ll make sure to display the book promptly on a shelf at my brand new apartment! Yaaaay!

  367. Halex Says:

Really, this is one of the most webcomics I’ve read in my life (and I read many!).
The fact that it has a finite storyline is, at the same time, the biggest high and the worst problem. The story is perfect and nicely done, but I can’t live with the fact that it’s over! :’(
Well, congratulations for this great piece of art! :D
    Greeting from Brazil,
    Halex

  368. Tannim Murphy Says:

One day. One day I’ll come back, and there’ll be an update in a “where are they now” fashion.

    One day.

Until then, I’ll keep checking back. I love this comic so much I want the movie rights… now all I need is a major motion picture studio, and I’ll be set.

  369. Micah Says:

Just stopping by to see who’s haunting the comment section. Pander, Jenn, how are you two doing post MM? I think I’m still having withdrawal symptoms…

  370. Giselle Says:

Cool, I ordered the paperback one, so hopefully I do see it soon. :)

  371. Graymalkin Says:

Just stopped by to see where my copy of the book was. Glad to see that it’s being shipped this week.

If Lifetime or ABC Family or Nickelodeon wanted to buy this for a live-action TV movie, would you sign that deal?

  372. Bobby Crosby Says:

Obviously only after all better options have been exhausted after a long period of time.

The hardcovers look pretty nice. Hopefully all will be shipped out by Saturday.

  373. Alicia Says:

Yea! *can’t wait for my book to arrive* ^//^ *happy happy joy joy dance tiem nowz*

  374. MihoshiK Says:

Ah, looking forward to the hardcover!

But… Looking forward even more to Eisu’s big poster and any subsequent Marry Me stories.

  375. Thomas Says:

    Well done.

  376. Debra Says:

Hey. When’s the sequel gonna be up? :(

Btw, great story! I enjoyed it and never get bored reading it over again!

  377. fatma Says:

lovely..!! i love the story ever since the first time i saw it.

  378. Bobby Crosby Says:

Just finished the first draft of the screenplay, gonna read it over now.

  379. evenhead Says:

I must say one of the shortest webcomics I’ve ever read (only took me a couple of hours to read through) but really good none the less, and really why not a sequel, I mean life doesn’t end just cause they’re married for real there’s always ups and downs, maybe the sequel could be of their children’s lives and their problems?

  380. Bobby Crosby Says:

evenhead didn’t read my blog post for this page apparently.

  381. vongsawat Says:

wow. amazing comic ^^ love the plot and all that. wouldve prefered it a bit longer instead of that timeskip and everything slotting neatly into place (im not averse to it, it just happened so quickly o .o

  382. Gabriella. Says:

Hey! Awesome ^^ even better now to be able to read it all at once!

What happened to the 10 days? (”you won’t be seeing a Marry Me 2 in theaters obviously — but we’ll be doing comics of short stories featuring the characters, with the first one starting within about 10 days probably!”) ;)

Not that I mind, I know it’ll be worth the wait.

  383. Steven Says:

When do we get to see more? I know you’re busy, but… I love your work! +EV and Marry Me haven’t had anything new. :(

Sore Thumbs does though, and I still need to catch up on that one… it’s a long series.

  384. MarcusRaven Says:

Just thought I’d ask about the hardcovers. Have all of them shipped out yet? The site says that mine is still processing, and then says that it is either shipped or in the final stage of processing. That’s confusing. >.< I have a feeling I didn’t order soon enough to get a signed and numbered copy, but I just wanted to know if they were still on their way out. ^_^

  385. Bobby Crosby Says:

It’s unfortunately a slow process at the moment. Not all have been shipped yet. All will hopefully be shipped within a week. Thanks to everyone for your patience. Still not sold out of the signed and numbered hardcovers, so yours will be signed and numbered! I signed all of them earlier this week.

  386. Norman728 Says:

I’m curious about the softcovers have they shipped like MarcusRaven is says processing.

  387. Bobby Crosby Says:

Some have shipped, not all — we had other unexpected delays unrelated to the waiting on the hardcovers to be done printing, so everything started to ship at the same time a few days ago.

-so yours will be signed and numbered!

That makes me really happy! ^_^ I would’ve been perfectly fine with just the hardcover, but I’m glad I didn’t miss the window. Now I just hope my own webcomic endeavor meet the same success. I love what you’ve done here and can’t wait to read it in hand!

Will we receive shipping notifications, or will it just arrive one day? Just curious as my order status says “Processing” and I wasn’t sure if I should expect a status change, or just wait for the book to show up. Thanks!

  390. Bobby Crosby Says:

It will show up one day very soon! No notification.

I just stumbled across this story today so I got to read it from beginning to end (Much to my delight). Excellent story with great potential for a movie. Casting will be crucial – as will directing. With the wrong actors/actresses or director it would be just another stupid cheesy movie. With the right cast and director it could be a major romantic hit. Since it already exists as a graphic novel, a majority of the storyboarding is already done. I saw a comment earlier about trying to release it as an anime – that would fun, but this story has SO much more potential as a live action movie. I wish you much luch Bobby. This story deserves to be made into a movie.

i loved the entire comic (: my favourite parts were probably the 2nd last page vs the first page (seeing how she’s changed from a glass half-empty person to someone positive), the page where guy brings stasia’s father to her sister’s room, and this last page.

So, will this book be stocked in stores perchance?

  394. Pat Says:

Read it all the way through just now. You’re to blame for my poor grades, all right?

Really, though, it was a great ride. There were at least five moments where I gasped. I can’t remember where they were, but my ‘gasp-factor’ for a good movie is around three. Be proud.

I want to restate someone else’s point: yes, the ending was a tad predictable, but the way it was pulled off was exceptional. If any other writer had tried it they would’ve shown some sappy wedding with Parker in a bridesmaid dress and Stasia’s father leading her up the aisle… blegh.

So thank you for this amazing story. I’m sure my family will enjoy it as well (though they may be a bit scared about the blood-drinking!).

Aaww, Parker got a girlfriend :D
Really great, wanna see more ^^

  396. Dummeh Says:

I’m completely slow on this comic. I love it, but at the end is Stasia still married to guy? The last page really confused me.

  397. Pesky Says:

YAY! Parker has a girlfriend and I just love the Guy is there with the exact same sign….XD

Great story. I was truly entertained. Clearly I’m late coming to this party, but figured it might be nice for you to know, Bobby, that your work is still fresh, exciting, and entertaining, even a year later for newcomers!

    Great work.

Your original post for this last page, says that you were going to still make shorts with these characters… Where are they at?

  399. Z Says:

    did parker hook up too?

  400. Max Says:

Awesome ending… And, it’s nice to see that Parker found someone as well…
