Ana. Sounds better than Stasia, in my opinion. But “Stasia” probably makes a better stage name.
I like the final panel as it is. The first three are also nice, how you see her nodding off progressively.

heh the amazing part to me is how he managed to get her back under the sheets without waking her. I mean if he had just gotten up and thrown his side of the comforter over her and used the sheets when he finally finished her autobiography, that would make more sense in a least effort sense.

I wonder if he is reading so as *not* to fall asleep thereby avoiding an awkward morning situation. (and, of course, staying above the covers)
I can relate to Stasia’s sudden exhaustion. Sometimes just sitting still and closing your eyes is all it takes to register exactly how tired you really are.

I was under the impression she had the covers pushed down to her hips, then when she rolled away from the light, pulled them up herself to sleep.
As for him reading. I am sure it is for multiple reasons. He’s smart.
1. He must know about her if he hopes to help her.
2. He enjoy’s reading.
3. It’s keeping him from focusing on the hottie next to him.
4. He’s so excited he can’t sleep.
5. When you’re next to someone you don’t really know, it is hard to sleep.
6. If he made a move, she might hate him for it. If he takes his time, they may be able to make it all work.

Thought so. Her real name is Anastasia which she shortens to Stasia for a stage name or Ana for her family and friends.
As for the covers… It’s magic! She fell asleep on top of the covers and somehow Guy magicly tucked her in without disturbing her peaceful slumber. I can’t explain how he did it, but all I’ve got to say is “Aaaaaw!” ^_^

I think being able to sleep next to someone without doing anything is just called being mature. It goes along perfectly with Guy’s personality. There’s no tension, or question about “omg there’s a hot chic next to me!” It’s just she’s tired, he’s not, end of story.

And most people I know only say “Y’all” when making fun of people who think that’s how we are.
I’m actually very pleased that this comic is set in Tulsa, yet doesn’t pander to some phony “cowboy mystique” that most people thing of when they hear “Oklahoma.”

Wow. Do you know how WEIRD it is to read a story about a girl with the same name as you- especially if it’s not the most common of names? This story keeps giving me tiny thrills- as in her close family and friends call her Ana (one “n”), just like my close family and friends. And my sisters’ pet name for me is Stasia. I guess I’m not quite as original as I would like to think, am I?
Anyway- congratulations on your story. I enjoy reading it, and it has an interesting story line. Not to mention it’s beautifully illustrated. I can’t wait to read more and find out what happens next!

Okay, so, I love this comic. I did love Guy, but I think he lost some man points with me.
Even if you’re from the OK State, it’s still incorrect to say “me and Parker” rather than “Parker and I”. I know I’m probably the only one who finds that important, but a character who went to college and works at a high school should know better.
It is a mark of how much I enjoy this comic that I’m willing to let the sentence ending in a preposition slide. I especially like the last panel in this one- they just look so comfortable together.

Bobby is absolutely correct. One of the things they teach English majors in university is the difference between conversational and formal English. I do not use formal English when speaking with my family, it is absurd to expect me so to do. Likewise, the characters engaged in dialogue would not speak formal English to one another. Yes, the phrase used is incorrect – so, too, is 80% of conversational English. That is, simply put, just the way it is.
