These comics are awesome! I saw them the other day and now I’m hooked.
I just don’t get Guy’s hair. Does anyone in the real world have hair like that? I don’t see anything like it. But it makes sense that he would gel or somehow manage his hair every morning if he’s really interested in people. Or does that happen when you let it get a little wild? The facial hair would suggest the latter, but could be cultivating that too. It seems to be popular with other internet stuff and I don’t get it at all.
Also, interesting way of dealing with the whole “first post!” nonsense. Congratulations! Too much stuff gets plagued with it.
PS - I could totally see spambots going (not a spambot thing! ^^)

And guy being so engrosed in the book he doesnt even notice her properly is sad. Especialy for those of us who would be the same…
By the way nerdpride, I have that kind of hair. Its more of a lack of fully doing something with your hair. See, I shampoo twice, dry it half-way, comb it back, then shack it all out after some air drying. Thats how i get hair like guy. No gel, just shampoo, water and a comb.
Heh, I may not post that often but I do read the pages as they come, nice to see that the people that complained about the updates will not be bothering us anymore.
Regarding the page: I wonder if Guy is being oblivious or pursposely (Subconciously or not) decided to sit on the chair. And I am inclined to agree with Andy-O about who is at the door, if it was Stasia’s dad, he would most likely have torn the door off the hinges getting in. I am betting that it is Janny or the lawyers. Keep up the great work Bobby and Eisu ^_^
Does she really know what she wants? Maybe not, but she’s obviously pretty used to getting it without asking. Is Guy dense, or is he just playing it smart. I doubt that Stasia ever *really* expected any advice from him, but Guy is taking it pretty seriously.

I don’t think that Denny would let very many people through that door. I wasn’t thinking about that earlier. The situation between Guy and Stasia was distracting. Maybe Stasia’s sister. Certainly not Parker. Who else is even around? Is it time for Stasia’s debriefing on the performance? Then again, it could just be Denny knocking on the door with whatever room service had. Yeah, it looks like they haven’t had anything to eat! Plus the knocking seems to be loud.
I bet it was daddy who knocked on the door! Stasia looked really cute sitting on the bed. Specially when Guy sat on the chair and not on the bed next to her, her sort-of angry face is very cute. She seems like shes getting a wee bit impatient tho.
Poor Stasia. She’s trying to flirt, but Guy is so engrossed in the biography he has almost no attention left over to notice.

Well joining on the discussion who is knocking… Parker? nah.. if she ever got past Denny, she is the one peson that would not knock. The person knocking in my opinion is Denny. I neer we’re a vip, or had my own bodyguard (sniff… so sad…), but I think it is the most logical thing, for him to knock, announce who is it, and ask should he let that person in.
AS for who it is… I bet on roomserice, or some tv reporters.
El, you deserved that endorsement! I couldn’t stop reading your comic once I got into the story until I got to the end and added it to my comic bookmarks.

I think Guy feels very insecure about the whole thing, so he’s purposedly hiding behind this book and iPod and even Parker. Remember he didnt have girlfriend for 2 years, so he might be scared to screw up…

Sara, Guy meant that he liked the live version that SHE JUST SANG FOR HIM better. He’s listening to the original version from the album on the iPod, which is why he says she sounds so young (because she recorded it eight years ago when she was 16). So no discontinuity, no.

Guy’s obliviousness is endearing and adorable. I’m a little disappointed that they’re getting interrupted before they can have any actual talks. I’m also interested in finding out exactly how bad Stasia’s boyfriends have been >.>

Back to page…I’m going for it being Janny being at the door.
I’ve been reading this since, oh, about a month or so ago, but this is my first time commenting. I like what you’ve done so far by the way. I’m gonna keep checking back for more updates from ya, cause I really want to know what happens to the characters next.
In reply to the comments about Guy’s hair: I seem to have hair like that now. My hair naturally gravitates upwards, but falls back down when its heavy. So, assuming I wet it then dry it, followed by a hair brush and a parting of the hair in the front, I end up with a hairstyle similar to Guy’s. Only major difference is my hair is curly/wavy (if I didn’t wet it first it would probably end up looking like an afro instead).
She’s just itching for a conversation. As we can probably assume, it seems like she already has a positive outlook on our male protaganist who seems more like a piece of background at the moment rather than a good ol’ person.
Hm… A lot of people seem to think Janny’s going into labor, and that she’s at the door. o0
Now, maybe it’s just me… but if I were going into labor, I don’t think I’d knock on my sister’s door. I’d get someone else to do it, because I’d be too busy freaking out about the baby, y’know?
Why does she seem so eager to get in his pants all of a sudden? Does she not realize the respect he’s trying to show her, or is she just not familiar with a gentleman? Were here previous relationships really that crappy, and does she just see sex as a way to get a guy to like her?
I guess I’m just trying to figure out what’s making her so neurotic.
It’s a very interesting situation. She’s clearly irritated that he’s not paying any attention to her, but since he’s actually reading her book and listening to her music, he is devoting all his attention to her.
What I find funny is when Stasia pats on the bed, indicating she wants him to sit next to her, and Guy sits down on the chair all the way across the room. Classic.
I think Guy is doing the right thing. Let’s all remember that Stasia has had a lot of bad experiences with boy friends. Remember, that one song was called, “First Boy Friends Suck” and Stasia’s response is, “… all my other boyfriends would be even worse.” So, she has had nothing but trouble with boyfriends. Perhaps they were attracted to her because of her dad’s money … perhaps (later) because of her fame. Perhaps it was simply because she is attractive, but were any of them attracted to her because of WHO she is? Guy is not moving too fast. Guy is reading a book about HER life. Guy may well be the first person to seem to care about WHO she is more than WHAT she is (attractive, famous and wealthy). So, I think that Guy sat where he sat purposefully. But, we shall see …
Wow, I just clicked this comic on a whim heh kinda like Stasia. I just finished reading all the comics posted and I must say… It’s a really good story, in fact I like it a lot. I can’t wait to read more, Woo!
It looks to be a standard sized “business” king. Very frugal for a mulit-millionaire. It certainly fits in with Stasia’s donating most of her money to charities.
My hair sometimes does the thing Guy’s hair does… we’re both tall and unshaven… heck, I’m wearing the same color shirt and pants as he is… and I’m oblivious. I don’t need glasses though… yet. Reading how some of these fans are “squeeing” over Guy makes me think my girlfriend might secretly squee over me, and that’s a happy thought.
I love Stasia’s face in the 5th panel for some reason. Really cute!

So it is… but the big questions here:
1. Who’s at the door?
2. The end of this mess: happily-ever-after (yeaaaah, right) or annulment?
3. What was the response to Parker’s 20000th post on the Stasia forums?
4. Is there something we’re not being told about Stasia’s past here?
5. When Stasia’s dad arrives, will I have to be across town, on the other side of the world, or in another multiverse altogether?
AND… 6. What, really, can I say to express how great this comic is?

Isn’t a tool more likely to do what the girl wants him to do? So if he were a tool, he’d be sitting next to her, right?

Wow, I just clicked this comic on a whim heh kinda like Stasia. I just finished reading all the comics posted and I must say… It’s a really good story, in fact I like it a lot. I can’t wait to read more, Woo!

Wow, what a small hotel room.
It looks to be a standard sized “business” king. Very frugal for a mulit-millionaire. It certainly fits in with Stasia’s donating most of her money to charities.

My hair sometimes does the thing Guy’s hair does… we’re both tall and unshaven… heck, I’m wearing the same color shirt and pants as he is… and I’m oblivious. I don’t need glasses though… yet. Reading how some of these fans are “squeeing” over Guy makes me think my girlfriend might secretly squee over me, and that’s a happy thought.
I love Stasia’s face in the 5th panel for some reason. Really cute!
