Welcome to Marry Me! This is a romantic comedy graphic novel which will run about 80 pages, although it is ripe for sequels. I’ll be writing a screenplay for it soon and the ultimate goal is to sell it to Hollywood as a feature film — hence the domain name. The comic is illustrated, lettered and colored by the great Remy “Eisu” Mokhtar, who makes No Pink Ponies, among other comics. I’m really glad to have him on board for this project.I’m not going to give nearly as many spoilers for this strip as I do for Last Blood. I’m not even going to tell you the concept of the movie! You’ll just have to keep reading to find out. I will tell you, however, that the blonde is named Stasia and the brown haired lady is Janny, and that they’re related, and that one of them is pregnant!

This is more to Eisu than anybody else, but I just have to say I rember why I love your comic so much. The art is great and you take the generic anime style, tweek it with somewhat different propotions and then add in some of the greatest and most ewll crafted expresions. Both cartoony but some how realistic at the same time. Kind of makes me wonder what would happen if you got your hands on Bugs Bunny…

Just recently I became a fan of Eisu’s work reading No Pink Ponies. And I gotta see, his work is impressive. Can’t wait til I see where this story goes.

I’m Julia and I draw the Squishy comics, you can check them out at the website if you’d like to.
I’d just like to say that I love your idea, I think it would make an excellent movie (which would make a nice change to all the Hollywood rubbish romances you tend to get these days). I’ve only just started reading it, but from the first panel I felt like I knew the character in a small way.
I’m going to continue reading it now. I just want to say that if there’s ever an idea that deserves to be published, it’s yours!
Also I love the art and the way it’s set out, it’s excellent, you have a good artist on board!

ok i have to say i really like this story a ton, and it saddens me to see that it is so short to start off with. But i do understand that it is new. but the thing is it says at the top you will post every M-W-F and i havent seen a post in a week. please post something or a blog of some sort saying why you didnt get the comic done. anyway thanks for listening. this isnt a bad thing its a suggestion because i wanna read more!
